‘Petroleum liquids and Natural gas‘ -US world’s top producer as the story goes, it was 2015. Although many in the industry around the world saw a downturn, it was the US in spite of the problems that still produced more Petroleum and Natural gas than anyone worldwide. In some places around here in this ‘neck of the woods’, we have a small town named ‘Wright wyo’, it was a boom town. Now the town is going to struggle to survive as a majority of business, jobs, and the economy was in the Powder River Basin where the coal mining was done. Here you also found oil, gas, and lots of jobs. But today a mass exodus out of the town and out of Wyoming will soon take place as families leave after school is out.
The worry for many is will coal, oil, and gas come back. Well Natural gas prices were low, but they will be able to survive as far as I am concerned. The Coal all depends on the the policies of our government pushed by Pres. Obama and how well the states like Wyoming, North Dakota, and others fight it. The oil, yes and the fracking all will come back. The world still needs oil and much of the petroleum liquids we produce make tons of products. It maybe hard, and a little while, but all will come back. Just how much and how fast will be yet to be seen.
