American Memories on Memorial Day is not the same as it was when I was a kid. Not at all. It was a different era. Memorial Day, the Fourth of July were the major celebrations for America filled with Parades and picnics. Solemn ceremonies at grave sites honoring our fallen heroes. This was what America was.
