Comfort my People Isaiah's Prophetic Book Pt103 on Battle Lines WIBR WARN Radio Ministry |
Comfort my People brings us to the reality that although #judgment had arisen from the Lord, the #warfare was ended. #Iniquity and #sin was now #pardoned. We find in this context as well the phrase John the Baptist used to describe who he was when asked what he said of himself. He replied, "I am the voice of him that cries in the wilderness." He was the forerunner of the #Messiah #JesusChrist, #Yeshua. This nugget of prophecy is snuggled in the body of today's teaching. As with many areas of study within scripture we must dig to find the hidden gold nugget treasures. But to those in Judah this #prophecy looks ahead as well as dealing with Jerusalem's current troubles and what is coming. It is here that comfort coming from the #Lord to his people in #Jerusalem and #Judah would have been a blessing at that time. #ComfortmyPeople for the #Lord has delivered us.
