"Jerusalem unfaithful City" -We find Isaiah declaring judgment on the city of God. One that was the apple of the Lords eye, now has become dross. The faithful city in short has become a harlot and wandered away from the Lord. It is an example of how backsliding can bring judgment. It is an example that shows the Lord has limits to which he will allow a nation to become, even Israel whom he redeemed from Egypt by a mighty hand.
