Lamb of God - Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. These were Pauls words to the Gentile Christian church at Corinth. Of course, there were Jews in Corinth as well. The point being here, that Paul and the Apostles all taught in the early church about Passover and the meaning under the New covenant. For Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people, this is written in Hebrews 9:28.
