Righteousness Sake are two words that the Lord is connected to when addressing judgment on men and nations. For Judah, the judgment came. It was the Lord who gave Judah up for the spoil due to their not listening to the #prophets warning them to #repent. Yet, as the judgment came, and Judah went into captivity in Babylon; the Lord would redeem them from this captivity. We also know that upon redemption they are restored to the Lord as the people are given to their city #Jerusalem and their inheritance. Add to this the #Temple and the people could then proceed to follow the Lord. This whole incident covered many years and generations of #Israelites have known and faced the consequences of rebellion. For the #Gentiles and their nations of men, the example of #Judah is an example of the #Lords work for His #RighteousnessSake, which today is fulfilled through the #Messiah #JesusChrist, #Yeshua ha #Massiach.
