Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. End of Days Shadows of Judgment. Without doubt believers in Jesus Christ are looking to the Day of his appearing. We live in the shadows of Judgment, just as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and others did in their day. When reading the words of the Apostles we find much in their lives and what they faced. I can investigate the daily situations they came up against. For all they went through, they did not face the Judgment of a nation, per se, as we will see in these last days. We find great ‘live ability’ in these writings of scripture by the hand of the Apostles, through the inspiration of the Spirit of God. We can peer into the daily life and see what they faced. The Kingdom of God by Force is a phrase that relates the very words of our Lord. Today we can see the Faith and Testimony of Jesus Christ in every nation on earth. Even in the most persecuted areas, we find Christians. The Spirit of God transcends man’s borders and ideas. The Word of God cannot be confined. Here as well the Hearts of men, women, and children cannot be held captive by mere mortals or devils. Nations can persecute them, throw them in prison, and even kill them. Israel Contending with the LORD Classic Warn Radio
Israel Contending with the Lord on Classic Warn Radio. Israel, her own people; proved to be their own worst enemy. Israel out of bondage, yet flesh and carnal minds bound by years of Egyptian influence had to be removed. As in all of us, the world and the flesh must go.
Lord led Israel the “longer way around”, lest Israel “i.e. the people change their minds” when faced with war. It was imperative to the Lord to get Israel out! Israel did not have this same idea in regard to this, for many times they wanted to go back to Egypt.
Israel in typical fashion today exemplifies many Christians and churches. It also reminds us of America. So too, with Israel coming out of Egypt, Egypt had to be removed from Israel. This was the task; the Lord was going to do. It would be Moses that would face Israel down in many different troubles that faced these people who came out of Egypt.
