Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Judgment Zions Controversy brings to the forefront #Isaiah’s #warnings. If #Judah had not been backsliding then the messages would not be of such rhetoric. If the #nations were not at #war with the #LordGod as scripture points out, then no judgment would be needed. Yet in the midst of Judgment is the #mercyofGod. For at these times when troubles mount up and danger arrives in the form of Judgment, then the human species worries. They fret. But many will not repent. #Nineveh repented at the warning of #Jonah then forgot the reason they did so and 70 years later God judged Nineveh. In the midst of the judgment you will not wander far from #Jerusalem, or the #Zion to which scripture refers. But note, there is a #heavenlyJerusalem, Zion and it shall be set in place on a restored Earth in the #eternalplans of God.

Children of God, there will be a vast multitude. The creature or creatures, from man to all living things, all the #earth and the #heavens; are subject to this eternal God. From #man to the #creation and onto the #creatures all look forward to that day when the revealing of the #SonsofGod will take place. It is as Paul writes of this everything “shall be delivered from the #bondage of #corruption into the #glorious #liberty of the #childrenofgod.” For all will be renewed in the #Lord, and the curse shall be removed forever; as will #death and #hell [for these shall be cast into the lake of fire]. This is the day we look forward too. Even with #troubles, #tribulations, and the raging of nations; we have #hope. A hope that those who do not know the #Father nor the #Son #JesusChrist.

Day of Indignation arrives, one of #outrage, anger, and #fury of the #Lord. It is over the #sins of the #people, their #priests, #prophets, and the #politicalleaders as well. With descriptions saying of the dead that they “shall be cast out”, “their stink shall come up”, and “mountains shall be melted with their #blood” we have more than enough vivid descriptions to let us know what is going on. #Spiritually #Minded meets the life of carnal behavior. The Apostle tells his readers that now because they have #believed in #Jesus [Yeshua] #Christ here, they find themselves with no curse, no condemnation, no error. For the former things should be gone and that life of #carnalsins and #lusts are far removed. For they were set free from the #lawofsin and #death. The #righteousness of the #law is not fulfilled through keeping the law, but through #faith in #ChristJesus. The transformation through the #Spiritoflife enables those in Christ to be free from the Lusts of this life. In short, we are overcomers. We also mind or follow those #fruits of the #Spirit and the #lifeofGod which dwells in us. We mind the things or follow those things of the Spirit of God and will not touch that unclean carnality and its fruits. Those in the flesh and walk in its desires and lust cannot please God.
