Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. For without #faith, sayeth He; “it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must believe he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. This follows what Paul brings forth as the “law of faith” where a persona is #justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Abraham so long ago believed the #LORD. He who is Perfect said that believing or having faith in the God who spoke to Him, Abraham was thus #righteous, for it was accounted to him for righteousness sake because he did believe the Lord.

Righteous Reign Appears in the latest chapter of #Isaiah. This is chapter 32 and part 80. The #judgments of the #LORD are centered in His #justice and righteousness. There are many who attacked our God and his judgments defiantly. However, I have taught throughout this that the judgments are #redemptive. Even in the New Testament, the phrase “as many as I love I rebuke and Chasten, be Zealous; therefore and Repent.” This phrase is from #Revelation 3:19 in a letter to the Laodicean church. In time though, #Judah will forget this and judgment at the hands of the Lord will send Babylon to send Judah into captivity. That too, will be justice, righteousness, and redemptive.

It comes on the heels of another word of warning of judgment of men in regard to the sins they openly commit in the last few sentences of Romans chapter one. Instead of raw carnal sins in Romans one, we find that judging another man is the issue. Here we find in the Roman city that Paul is addressing Jews who are criticizing Gentiles. Israel went down to Egypt because of the nation’s mighty army, horses, chariots, and horsemen. They were strong and mighty. Now that an enemy threatened Jerusalem, the choices were clear. So, they thought. Get help from Egypt, which marks the Trusting in the Arm of the Flesh. So too, today’s world dramatically does this. With all the technology, devices, sciences, and more; we do not understand how wrong it is to place all our trust in these things. Egypt and the surrounding nations found out the issue. So did Israel in a practical and extremely dangerous lesson to the House of Judah and to all Christians today. Whom or what do you place your trust in.
