Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Every Believer is a partaker of Chastisement once in a while. I do believe we can be at a point where we receive guidance and there is no need for harsh correction. The #ApostlePaul says in #Hebrews chapter twelve, verse Eleven “that no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous.” But the real meaning is ‘#tutorage’, here meaning education or training. Today we look at a few #Psalms and find the nuggets and understanding to help us in our journey through #ChristJesus and the supply of #HisSpirit. The Brit Chadasha, with the word Brit meaning New and Chadasha meaning covenant is our New Testament. You can no more take the Tanakh out or ignore it than any other scripture. Tanakh is the Jewish Bible, also called the Hebrew bible. It is also the Old Testament portion of the bible to Christians today, however the Hebrew bible is divided into portions.

The Lost Glory of Americanism
There is a lost glory of Americanism, that ideal for which many have fought and died for. The departure from England at the beginning of our nation was one to create a new world and lose the old European system. There are many Patriots today in America. They come in all sizes, shapes, and races. The attraction to freedom and the constitutional guarantees is not bitten off because of race or sex. Freedom is innately in the soul. It feeds the appetite for that freedom which began so long ago. My own Grandfather and Great Grandfather knew of this well. As did our many forebears in our own family. The question today is, can we keep it, restore it, and continue to enjoy today with enemies in our congress, government, and law enforcement? Continue reading

Last Days Deception Ever Learning but not the truth! Wisdom of the world, knowledge, and always learning doesn’t mean you really know the Truth! The Apostle warned us of the last days, which is the farthest or final or ends of; the days which humans live in. It is life. In our quest to live our days that God has given us. But in Paul’s example this is the farthest time or the ends of the human time clock to live out the period which God has given to us by His grace to live in.
