Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Comforters of Job that show up in Times of Troubles is an experience all it’s own. Not all who come to help or comfort those in trouble are like these in Job. Yet we can look at this experience and think “how would I survive such an ordeal as Job.” In addition, I have experienced the “pain on my bed”. But I know of many others who go beyond pain and have a battle with death itself in the abode of the destroyer. Their bones waste away, they cannot eat, there is no strength left. Today the Biden administration, the attack on the America we grew up in has continued. Yet the truths of what we believed still live on in the hearts of true Americans. The Fourth of July and the Way it Was, is for me a day of remembrance. Our family was just one of many that celebrated it in our town. It was the time of parades, fireworks, patriotism, and picnics with family and friends. The Kingdom of God by Force is a phrase that relates the very words of our Lord. Today we can see the Faith and Testimony of Jesus Christ in every nation on earth. Even in the most persecuted areas, we find Christians. The Spirit of God transcends man’s borders and ideas. The Word of God cannot be confined. Here as well the Hearts of men, women, and children cannot be held captive by mere mortals or devils. Nations can persecute them, throw them in prison, and even kill them. But this does not stop the Kingdom of God by Force.
