Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. The Day of Trouble comes to #Judah, then stir in rebuke and blasphemy. It is here that King Hezekiah meets the reality of the threat of Sennacherib. Besides threatening #Jerusalem, the words of Rabshakeh are a direct reproach to the #livingGod of #Israel. As is the case among the heathen, #Assyria has no trouble with this. It is the same today among the nations of men who do not consider that aspect of disrespect to the living God. However, it is more serious than that, it is direct #blasphemy. Within the gates of the city, Hezekiah seeks the #Lord in #Prayer for the #remnant left in the city. When the #DayofTrouble comes, the seeking of the Lord, standing on His #Word, and making yourself stand solid in #faith, #believing is paramount.

Nation Power Lords Judgment comes into the true reality. As the #Assyrians look upon Jerusalem as already won, the fact is they already lost. #Nation #Power #Lords #Judgment finds the boasting of human power backed by pride is a loser. To boast against the #Highest #God is foolishness. It is said by Keil and Delitzsch regard a verse herein when the boast of Sennacherib was laid out. They had ravaged, but here we can see that these cities were as K.D. said “The nations in the presence of the Assyrian became, as it were, weak, delicate grasses, with roots only rooted in the surface, or like a cornfield with the stalk not yet formed.” The lesson here is the same one Pharoah of Egypt learned when contesting the release of #Israel from bondage. It is the lesson the nations will learn under the #Judgmentofnations in the #endofdays. As believers, we know the truth of this even as men and nations boast proud fully against the #True and #livingGod.

Upright Justice Judgment – Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt54 on Battle Lines
Upright Justice Judgment are beheld in the eyes of the Lord. As God sent Judah into captivity for her sins, after 70 years and their release from Babylon; the sins were forgiven and paid for. She was to go into the land, rebuild the temple, and serve the Lord. Long before Yeshua came to provide the final atonement, Judah lived under and by the Law. For the believer in Jesus Christ, our faith and our walk must line up with scripture. We too, can sin and grieviously fall away. Some even quit the faith. However in todays portion we find a nation delivered and heading home with her national sins behind her.
