Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Steadfast Faith Pursuit of Christ Born of God Pt6
Born of God, it is specific. We are not born by the flesh to redemption, but through the Spirit. We are born through the flesh as fallen and move towards our destiny when we come to the Lord God and our Father through His Son Jesus Christ. This was not a light experience nor one to be rediculed. It was serious enough that the Apostles were persecuted, imprisoned, and martyred for their faith and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The fact is true, to overcome the world is a victory in itself. But this overcoming is not a good job or billions in the bank. Not of the world we are; we are Born of Godand as such this faith in Jesus Christ is our victory and we must not forget it.

Princely Judgment is wrought by Christ Jesus when he went to the cross. The trouble with trying to overthrow heaven, the God of Gods, and make yourself king is, simply put; it won’t work. The devil and his minions found that out. They were cast out of heaven. One day the judgment wrought on the cross will come to their own arena. The fact that the Son of God Jesus Christ triumphed over all principalities and powers means that the lake of fire awaits them all. But to those who repent and walk in the light as Christ is the light, well it is heaven and the presence of God for them.

Isaiah 24 Gleaning grapes, harvesting olives; or any crop, it is usually that not 100% of the crops are harvested. In today’s modern industries, we have the equipment to do a thorough job. Yet for the harvesting of crops in trees like olives or grapes on a vine, the point in Isaiah is that only a few hard to reach or in the upper most part of the tree are not harvested. So, in judgment some escape the harvesting. In judgment, we find the righteous escaped with their lives, though having gone through the fire.

Death is near and so is tribulation. Corrie ten Boom wrote of her experience in the German death camps. In her camp, she lost her sister and 95,000 others as well. It was in that aroma of death th at she writes of her “knowing Jesus Christ, my Lord, and of progressively, more intimately, getting acquainted with him.” Steadfast Faith is that Pursuit of Christ Jesus.
