PROPHETIC WINTER OF OUR DISCONTENT

Prophetic Winter – Formerly America’s Winter of Discontent written originally in 2009. This is updated, rewritten, and expanded. I look back at this and ahead considering this season. We move from the pages of John Steinbeck’s acclaimed novel to the Words of a Shakespeare play, and on to the current events in America. The pages of the 60’s revolution to the burning of America and overthrow of the foundations this nation has forged through the fire of the past the Winter of Discontent has revealed itself. Prophetically as these events unfold, history will not lie; for truth can be skewered to those living it. Yet the truth will unveil itself in ways the deceived cannot imagine. For those wise to do evil, there will be an overcoming day that the redeemed will find themselves in. Will you dare take this journey with me today? Power of Faith over Fear

Power of Faith over Fear was seen among the Apostle Paul and those who worked with him. In the Roman Empire there were wicked people, unreasonable individuals, and faithless people. We see idols, political intrigue, and persecution occurring. There were those enemies of the gospel that followed Paul around trying to get the people to stop them from preaching the good news. Never had a society seen such a power of faith. Paul wrote the leaders at the church in Thessalonica and covered many issues at that time. But one thing stands out, Paul said in concluding the epistle “Finally, brethren, pray for us.”

Infallible Proof – Redemptive Inheritance is the one aspect of the believers experience that is unique. For no other Savior, no other religious experience can lead you to the true and living God. The name above all names belongs to Jesus [Yeshua] Christ. It is here that the infallible proofs lay in the redemption of our Lord, his being seen by so many, and the miracles he did. The former treatise of Luke details it, along with other gospels. Yet, the Apostles who were included in that treatise now were told to to gather and not to depart from Jerusalem. They waited on the Lord and the Holy Ghost came and baptized them all. A little bit of heaven came down upon them.

Lamb of God – Christ our Passover

Lamb of God – Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. These were Paul’s words to the Gentile Christian church at Corinth. Of course, there were Jews in Corinth as well. The point being here, that Paul and the Apostles all taught in the early church about Passover and the meaning under the New covenant. For Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people, this is written in Hebrews 9:28.

Jesus Christ [Yeshua HaMassiach] was the once for all sacrifice, propitiation, atonement, mercy, love of God, offering, blood atonement, faith, redemption, and all for the sinner. Yet as we were redeemed, we were also to purge out or remove the old leaven of sins and rebellion. Thus walking in the Light as He, our Lord Jesus Christ walked, read 1st John chapter one. There was to be a difference between us and the world.
