Keeping the Watch can be a lonely duty. In the service there are watches around the clock. Being on guard, on the alert; all while others sleep and get rest. Today we understand the Lords warning that we must be alert, on guard, and be prepared to stand against the enemy. The Lord is coming and among all our discipleship duties, the main one is not forsaking our Love for the Lord. This translates into watching for Him, wanting to be with our Lord God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in His Kingdom. The world watches and longs for many things; we need to long for only one; our redeemer and Lord. Yet Keeping the Watch is something that people get weary over. It can be boring, nothing happening. For the Lord delays his coming, to the second or third watches. So be ready for in such an hour your Lord comes.

String of Deceit the Rebellion of Nations

The String of Deceit is a strong cord, once tied, it is hard to become undone! The string, that is, a sequentially ordered set of things or events or ideas in which each successive member is related to the preceding. Such is the rise of the wickedness and deceit today. The events are set, set in deceit itself, and comes from it. It is deceit, that is, deception in the highest order of darkness and set up in the nations. It is people, who are themselves in the set order itself. For they become the deception, as one taken in a snare. This deception so subtle shall arise itself and will be an ‘illusionary feat’, that many will consider magical, spiritual, supernatural, and a miracle. It will be the people who rise to consider the words, power, and feat of the darkness that shall arise at this time.

Counsel and Judgment comes into the real world today as we follow Judah amidst a calamity that came upon them. Their counsel from those around the king of Judah came from the religious to the political spectrums in Judah. The advice they received guided them in their final Judgment what to do. This verdict or decision is what leads the Prophet Isaiah to declare Woe to the rebellious children. They took counsel but not of the Lord. Those in Judah made decisions to get Egypt to help and refused counsel of the Lord. Thus, the LORD said of them “that take counsel, but not of me! Jeremiah later would write as he also dealt with a stubborn Judah “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD” Jeremiah 17:5. The opposite of that Jeremiah says in verse 7 “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.”

Which they are the center where Jerusalem will have the nations gathered. But prophecy in scripture also pertains to the gentiles and the nations. We follow the ongoing Christian persecution and other signs of the end and know the issues that face society. Among which is lawlessness and this is lawlessness.

Son of God Witness I Saw and Bore Record

Son of God Witness -It would be a dynamic testimony for anyone would be able to say, ‘I saw and bare record that this is the Son of God,’ but for us today, we live by faith and have not seen personally this Son of God, but we still believe, based on this testimony and others like it. For with this testimony, and the work of the Spirit of God, the anointing breaks open the darkness in our hearts to let in the light of the Gospel, the good news of salvation. That good news is, God sent forth his Son to save sinners, of which, I am; but thanks to God, through the ‘Lamb of God, I now have been rescued by the ‘blood of the covenant’. God has also given us his Spirit, which bears witness in our hearts, that we are the children of God!
