Age of Lawlessness Confronts Righteousness. The events of the last two years turned upside down any thought of the perilous times being far away. Highlighting the troublesome aspects of life today would include mandatory vaccinations, pandemics, lockdowns, economic issues, wars, rumors of war, wide open borders, and all this can be found in America today. There is a confrontation today that brings division to societies. Peril is everywhere in the world and today all eyes are on Ukraine and Russia. Here we look at the horizon while seeing the fulfillment of prophecy. But on the agenda, this Age of Lawlessness Confronts the Righteousness of the Lord God and those who believe in Him.

Peace is the moment that many people seek in life. This affects people whether they are rich, poor, or somewhere in between. Turmoil, politics, war, sickness, pandemics, and other life events affect that peace. In the end of days which we live, it is an Age of Lawlessness. Righteous living and following Righteousness can be an affront to a lawless society. Especially when that Righteousness is followed in the Light of God’s Word. Life is not always fair. There is one who will judge all in that Last Great Day. It will be at this time he will set the world and the heavens in balance. Make no mistake living in an age of lawlessness is not easy. For Christians, to live as the scripture commands can be challenging. Being righteous in an Age of Lawlessness is a path you choose. It is neither easy nor quick. But it is a place where the benefits of knowing Christ Jesus will give you peace and blessing.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him

Today’s world is lawless as people seek their desires and forget the true and living God. Even here in this rebellion, are many who claim to know God and use him as an excuse to wage war, to kill others, and to spread their message of untruth to a world that begs for something more. While Christianity had taken over much of the modern world, from Europe to America and beyond. That moment of domination of this faith wanes and finds itself in a tide pool of immoral behavior only described in its fullness as abominations. Yet as I say this, be sure there are many who have not bowed their knees to this age or its lawless ways.
Such abominable practices can come from the mother of Harlots who has a golden cup of filthiness. Every habit, deed, unclean thing is poured out from the pits of hell on mankind. It is pushed by unclean spirits that spread across a land. It infects, inhabits, and destroys the souls of men. As such there is only one power in heaven and earth that can break this power of darkness and uncleanness. That is through the redemptive, regenerative, and a personal confrontation with the Son of God, Jesus Christ. This comes through repentance and not pride. It comes through humility and confession of sins. It comes when that heartfelt repentance in earnest reaches the throne of heaven to access that redemption found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

In addition, this uncleanness will infect the governments of men. It will push itself into the laws of the land as political powers are used to make laws. Here the abominable is no longer abominable the people are told. Many times, Christians and their churches acquiesce to this new change. Thus, the abomination is now good and proper. Soon generations of young are fed this anti-god serum of lawlessness. They believe it and are deluded into the truth that is a lie. Those who oppose this new change are looked upon as people with phobias, here irrational fears. Bible thumpers they criticize for being so outdated in a modern world. Yet as time passes, people tire of fighting the never-ending barrage of change.
It finds its way into the newsrooms, the movie studios, and into the families. It had already found its way into the seminaries of Christian colleges and seminaries. Soon, everything is now the way it should be. A new morality. A new truth now is a common acceptable practice of life. It matters little now that the new lifestyle that becomes widely practiced is at odds with biblical morals. Afterall, the bible is outdated. They do not like a male god, so they change the pronoun to a neuter; by saying it, they, or even declare now God is a female.
This change comes with the destruction of family norms. Soon, preachers and teachers pop up to teach that Christianity had it all wrong. That in fact, there are no abominations. All paths lead to God. Societies should embrace change and other gods. Pushing to globalization, one world order, a one world religion, and no proselytizing; the world falls into the cataclysm of the end of days. Make no mistake scripture tells “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” Rom 12:18 KJV. No doubt as believers we must live in peace, in love, and look for an opening or way to let those around us know of the redemption in Christ Jesus. Man, nor societies of people cannot clean up its sins, only a sincere and heart felt experience with our Lord can do that.
Here Jesus Christ warned us. For instance, in Matthew 24, he says “Take heed that no man deceives you” in verse five; “Many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many” in verse six; “many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many” in verse eleven; “the love of many shall wax cold” in verse thirteen. In three verses, in the beginning of this chapter, Christ warns us about deception and being deceived. He ends these verses with a warning that the “love of many shall wax cold.” Be sure we have been at this place in America long ago and today it is far worse. Is it any wonder that Americans have a tough time finding peace?
Hollywood elites with money, power, and prestige sit in their ivory towers and still are bothered and have no peace. For many, their ability to shelter behind their money and fame within the walls of their ivory towers does not protect them at all. They delude themselves while like the Rich man who walked by Lazarus in the story found in Luke chapter 16. He never lifted a finger to realize the trouble of that one sitting at the gate. Lazarus faced homelessness, sickness, starvation, evil, and more in his life. The Rich man ignored this one’s fate and troubles. You can read the outcome in Luke. Yet today in Nancy Pelosi’s district and other areas of California cities and in America we find homelessness, drug abuse, and more. In fact, we find our political leaders will allow open borders, giving money to them for their support. At the same time, our homelessness is the worst ever. The issue today is open borders.
Yet our some of our most recognizable politicians like Pelosi and the democrats want open borders to allow the world to enter. We cannot even help the Americans we have here today. But political pressures by those who hate America pushes a revolution to destroy this nation. It was an America that was built and fueled by hard working people, a majority of whom also had common sense, morals, and faith in Jesus Christ.
But it is true when Israel fell away from God, then the Lord would allow Israel’s enemies to gain power over the nation. As Jesus said in John 15:5 “without me you can do nothing.” The Apostle John in his 1st Epistle chapter one and verse seven tells us of “walking in the light”. That is where we must be to have fellowship, abiding in Christ Jesus, and find that relationship which is purposed for us as believers.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In this world even Christians long for peace. We can have inner peace, even while the world is in turmoil. We can find peace in Christ Jesus knowing our sins are forgiven. We can find peace in Christ Jesus through answered prayer. We can find peace in Jesus Christ knowing he is coming soon. Even amidst turmoil, times of distress, during moments of heartache, or even death; Christ died for us. To redeem us and purchase our salvation. While this is great news, the Christian must be focused on Christ Jesus and not the issues of the day. We are not to be ignorant, but fully know that our victory is in Christ. Focus on Christ not the trouble. No power on earth can destroy what we have through Jesus Christ.
In addition, God has made a beautiful world. If it stands, even with a sinful and rebellious society hell-bent on going its own way, we can enjoy this place we call home. Even today, we find America divided as never before. Plots of the left-wing, the Hollywood elites that continue to trash President Trump even after he is out of office. However, there is still hope. Christ has given us the victory. In this world we have tribulation; but as our Lord overcame, so can we.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ, not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth.

Today is the time to keep your faith. Put it all in the Lords hands. But as well, it is time for you to focus, having tunnel vision on the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. While we may Long for a place where peaceful waters flow. A calming radiance from the sun warming the soul. It is true, for many; these things are the fruit of life. Many try to find peace within a world full of sin and rebellion. At such a moment of peace, the fleeting seconds pass. Soon, they are yet caught up in a raging torrent. It sweeps them into the turmoil of the white-water rapids of life. Caught up in it, they cannot rescue themselves. Many long for that day of peace to return. It is that picture people paint in their minds, saying to themselves “if only I could find that place”.
Today the rich have the means to buy green pastures. To own that beauty of a Mountain meadow. Money and power are the fulfilment for those who use it to find their place of dreams. Out of the picture of life we paint that tranquility. It is where the grazing of deer, the song of birds, and the mountain peaks all bring joy. In that spot, at that moment, you sit back and enjoy. Now, your worries are far away, and the troubled soul is calmed by those things that comfort your spirit.
But there is a place amidst the white-water rapids of life. That nurturing place where Gods Love and his radiant blessings can shower down upon you. Here you find love, joy, peace, and faith emanating from our God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. A place of forgiveness, redemption, and reunion with your God. The moment when your God touches your soul. His love will heal anyone who will come to him and linger in his presence. It is currently and always shall be that you find pure peace and Gods love bearing witness with your Spirit that you are a Child of God.
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Thanks Watchman…no question about it, we live in a lawless world. Humanity ensconsed in their sin, and their pride tells them that they are the captains of their own soul. No one can tell them what to do, what is right of wrong. These communist dummycrats will stop at nothing to destroy America. Blatantly, they hold up financial relief for the American people, so that they can implement their unAmerican commie agenda. In reality, these elitists actually hate the American people. They hold this nations citizens in contempt, while they live in their luxury. But we true believers can find peace, and this peace is found in our Father, and His Son the Lord Jesus. Nothing that the world offers brings this deep peace that a true believer experiences. The world can not quantify/measure this God given peace, but it is there non the less. He delivered me because He delighted in me (Psalms). And the Lord holds his arms openly, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Our Lord’s peace to you and Tower…Amen.
