Assurance of Life Versus Eternity

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

‘out of your bellies shall flow Living Water’ -Jesus Christ

Time goes by
And Eternity takes it in.
Eternity Expands again
Demanding more time.
Man is born and he dies.
Between those two is life.
Made up of small segments

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(Isa 57:15)

We call this time.
Each moment, each second
Proceeds each other.
Cascading towards the inevitable
When time shall be no more.
When eternity though forgotten
Will rise at the veritable demise.

And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
(Rev 10:6)

Yea, the sure end of time.
End of seconds, minutes, hours, and days.
End of the life as we know it.
The beginning of the reign of eternity.
Eternity is merciless, it takes all we give.
It swallows all who know time.
It swallows and hungers for more.

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
(Joh 17:2-3)

Yea, the battle rages, man loses.
Life ends and that endless reign,
That full complete reign of eternity begins.
Eternity raises to its role; God calls to it.
There is one to whom even this one will bow.
Yea, eternity whose constant demand
Whose steady appetite gives way to the Lord.

Therefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

The soul, in the wasteless corridors of eternity,
Wandering in blackness, swallowing its fate,
Yea, that soul is found of God.
There are two places for such souls.
One is for those who Hope in the Lord God,
Those who trusted in the Son of God.
There is another place!

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(Joh 3:18)

One for those who have Rejected Gods only Son.
This place recalls time, torment, and torture.
Forever, in a place called Eternity,
In a place where hell resides.
They are friend’s hell and eternity.
Both never end, both give way to God.
Both are subject to the Lord God.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
(1Jn 5:11-12)

In this, man should take note.
Do that for your soul.
That which presents itself to you.
That which even time, eternity, or hell cannot stop.
Accept the Lord Jesus Christ.
For death and hell are swallowed in His victory.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(1Co 15:54)

Yea, the last to be defeated will be death.
And time counts down, seconds pass.
Eternity reaches for it and pulls it in.
The soul which is lost, wanders.
The darkness doesn’t end.
There was hope, God made a way.
But for this one, rejection of
Gods Son was his way.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Jud 1:4)

Look too, ye men, awake children
For now, is the time to accept the Lord Jesus.
Time counts down but cannot stop the Lord of Glory.
Eternity waits but bends to the Lords will.
Hell pulls back, for the soul cannot be touched.
For this soul belongs to the Lord God.
This soul justified by Faith in Christ,
Has been delivered from time, eternity, and hell.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
(Rev 22:12-13)

Time goes by,
And eternity takes it in.
The Lord is in his glory, he reigns.
Not a force or power can touch him or his beloved.
That’s the truth,
And eternity takes it all in.
