Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Beginning of Sorrows heads up our Advocacy for the Persecuted Church today. In the midst of our coverage, we find key areas such as those Wanting Deliverance, North Korea, Iraqi Christians, Restoring Churches, and the Persecuted Believers. This especially true of Christians caught up in and scattered from their homes, towns, and find danger, death, and troubles. The world watches as the point here is in your face and in your heart, these are the “Beginning of Sorrows”. We remember that the twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew, verses eight to twelve describe the challenges for those in the Faith of Christ Jesus. This chapter portion reads as follows ” All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” We are hoping and praying that the situations will work to the Lords Favor and to the Christian believers, but also to those without the Faith of Christ Jesus. AMEN!

Beginning of Sorrows Reaches into today’s modern events and pushes war and all that goes with it into the mainstream. The differences between nations, peoples, beliefs, and religion brings events into focus. Today’s show is not about defining all the war events nor following the who’s who in it. We are looking at the #believers in #Jesus #Christ and what they are facing today and have been facing. Turmoil, violence, finding safety, and more heads the agenda. However, with all this is the #Faith of #ChristJesus as major players like those within #Islam and also the #Christiannations and #peoples are caught up in this. It is as Matthew details in chapter twenty-four, verses six to eight. These verses say “And ye shall hear of #wars and #rumorsofwars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be #famines, and #pestilences, and #earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” As #American and #Israel are in the direct line of the fighting against #Iraq, many other #nations are watching. However, when we speak of such wars as these, we are warned “these are the beginnings of sorrows.” This bluntly means that if we are indeed in that time frame we find in Revelation, then indeed more comes.
