Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Faithful Witness, moreover today and in the past history of the churches; the message of redemption was carried to all people. We are to be faithful, not all of us are expected to be globe-trotting successful Evangelists and Preachers. The Lord is our example, His Spirit is our guide, teacher, helper, and the one who is near to help us in our testimony and quest to be a Faithful Witness. The question is always found in the hearts of people as to why they might fail. Today, we open up this subject in these end of days and count the cost of being a Faithful Witness.

Faithful Witness brings us to part fourteen in our series, “Believers Endtime Faith.” In spite of circumstances in the Christians Life, we are required to be Faithful. The discipline of my parents remind me of this. They were there as Parents for me and my sister. They raised us, disciplined us, corrected us, gave us chores, and carried through with us until their deaths. They also made sure that we made it to church, from the start in children’s church all the way up the line. Their responsibility ended when I was a young adult, old enough to make decisions on my own. Yet for this study we are reminded the Lord Jesus Christ is our sovereign Lord and Master who gave His life as a ransom for many. Today we find America filled with lawlessness as with the rest of the world. There are many battles today in the world, one of the biggest is finding a lawless America that is surrounded by lawless nations. Christians are persecuted daily, hourly, and gets worse by the day. In spite of the appearance and daily lives lived in the nations of men, the Lord will hold all nations and their people accountable. Therefore, it is imperative that the believers in Jesus Christ are the responsible and dedicated and ever faithful Witness.

Everyone has a gift, a command to be faithful, and the Lord expects us to continue being faithful and serve him in the capacity God has laid on the heart. As Revelation chapter one, verse five through six says ” And from #JesusChrist, who is the #faithful #witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
