Within three years Isaiah says this will occur. The evil of men and nations never do exist to the extent they may want it to continue.
The Burden of Moab -Moreover, Evil men and nations are cut off. As David says: “I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not: yea I sought him, but he could not be found” Ps 37: 36-37.
The Burden of Moab -Biblical Scholars Keil & Delitzsch says “there is no other prophecy in the book of Isaiah in which the heart of the prophet is so painfully affected by what his mind sees, and his mouth is obliged to prophesy.” God does not delight in the death of the wicked and neither should we. But know that God in all he does, holds evil to account for and holds righteousness to its just desserts.
The Burden of Moab -Isaiah prophesied these burdens and clearly saw and spoke them, warning all around. Yet the judgment surely gripped his heart. Knowing the fear of the Lord we persuade men, for our God is a consuming fire. Let all men be persuaded of this.

The Burden of Moab – Isaiah is one of the most prophetic and metaphoric works in scripture today. Although, a long time ago, we find out that in the nations of men and women; the evil that pulls us from the Lord God has not changed. While the covenant in Isaiah day was from the Sinai covenant and the Abrahamic covenant; there are many things that speak to us. We are in the days of the new covenant and the Spiritual Israel. A calling to Israel of old and a message to the gentiles to come to him; we can find all of it in this book. Behind it is Mercy, Salvation, and the Day of the Lord.
The Burden of Moab – Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
