Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. When dealing with signs, wonders, prophecy, and plain good sage teachings from the Apostles; one must pay attention. The Apostle John says in his second epistle, chapter one; verse ten, that if anyone comes to you and as John says, “bring not this doctrine”, then do not have anything to do with him. If you give quarter to him, invite him in, then you are a “partaker of his evil deeds”! Siding with evil or giving your consent to evil or wrong doctrine is wrong. Ominous Babylon is arriving soon. It is no coincidence that #Babylon shows up. They have heard of the destruction of #Assyria and the death of #Sennarcherib. #Hezekiah here is happy to see such a powerful visit from #Babylon. It does not occur to the #King here in the least that there is a reason for the visit. This sets up the coming chapters of Babylon and the eventual #judgment on Judah and the carrying away of almost all its people and wealth. The lessons are not lost here. A lesson to Judah concerning the deliverance from Assyria. Finally, the lesson of Babylon will be one that will stick to Judah for the rest of her #existence and beyond. But all this is not lost to us today. #Ominous Babylon has many things to glean from this section.

I will Deliver Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt100 on Battle Lines
I will Deliver has brought us to the fact that for the #faithfulness of those in #Jerusalem guided by the #righteous #King #Hezekiah, #God put away the #Assyrians. In the final verse of the last chapter, we find Sennacherib has died in his own land at the hand of his own sons. I will deliver brings us to the point where #Isaiah has set apart chapter 38 specifically for an interlude to describe Hezekiah’s sickness and the circumstances. Here we find the power of the #Lord and the people whom he will deliver. The Lord knows #Israel well here since the time of #Moses he has purposed to deliver Israel. We continue to follow Isaiah’s path in this section as the adventure and intrigue continues.

Every Knee Every Tongue shall #confess to #God. Every knee will bow before #JesusChrist, including devils, demons, and unbelievers. You will want to notice however, that in this section we find this phrase tied to the #Judgmentseat of #Christ. Along with that we find the issue is “#judging your #brother” or as Paul describes it; “set at nought thy brother!” Here, nought is nothing, or you do not even consider your brother. Your brethren here in Christ are not even on your list of consideration. Maybe arguments, division, or other trouble came between you. Here we must remember, as Paul says; be #reconciled with you brother. In addition, do not put a stumbling block in the path of your brother causing him or her to fall. #EveryKnee #EveryTongue in today’s society will find it is easy to get wrapped up in other things. Be sure you do not ignore the important aspects of #Christianfaith.
