Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. In this midst of this we find believers and #non-believers caught up in the net of the end of days here on planet earth. For many there is nowhere to run when chaos and fighting erupts in their villages, towns, and nations. When #regionalchaos erupts then the world suffers as the people leave to find help and safety. We are reminded as Christians that with men it is #impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Here it is impossible with men. This covers lots of ground, but for the believers and our God then we see #allthingspossible with our #redeemer and #Lord. When #hopelessness and #lawlessness has a strong foothold, only God can heal, restore, and bring the believer’s victory.

Comfort my People Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt103 on Battle Lines
Comfort my People brings us to the reality that although #judgment had arisen from the Lord, the #warfare was ended. #Iniquity and #sin was now #pardoned. We find in this context as well the phrase John the Baptist used to describe who he was when asked what he said of himself. He replied, “I am the voice of him that cries in the wilderness.” He was the forerunner of the #Messiah #JesusChrist, #Yeshua. This nugget of prophecy is snuggled in the body of today’s teaching. As with many areas of study within scripture we must dig to find the hidden gold nugget treasures. But to those in Judah this #prophecy looks ahead as well as dealing with Jerusalem’s current troubles and what is coming. It is here that comfort coming from the #Lord to his people in #Jerusalem and #Judah would have been a blessing at that time. #ComfortmyPeople for the #Lord has delivered us.
