The Council of God Call upon Me is a collection of two psalms. These are a prophetic warning of the Day of the Lord, the Wickedness of a Nation, and a final Word to Call upon the LORD. It calls upon the nations and the people therein to take heed. Your ways are an afront to the Living God. Your gods shall not deliver you, for there is one Lord God and our Father and One deliverer, Savior, and Mediator between the Lord God and man, the Christ, Son of God Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach. This entire message is displayed in two psalms.

Council of God Call Upon Me!
The Council of God therein is not only of Judgment, but of deliverance and council to walk in the ways of the Lord. Many, however, who read this are already among those of the chosen generations and belong to the royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people who have obtained mercy. These are those believers who have repented and been born again of the Holy Spirit, walking in the light as Jesus Christ, Himself walked. See John chapter one and three; 1st John chapter one and five. Then Revelation chapter twelve verse eleven, and Revelation chapter twenty-two, “He Comes!”

A psalm by Dana G Smith Thus, the Lord called a council, and he spake thus, to all the nations, peoples, and lands, Will ye hear? Will ye consider that this is so? If so, you may be hid during the day of the Wrath of the Lord our God! I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice. The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness. Jeremiah 22:21-22
Behold the mist arises. The Haze comes and stands upon the land. It covers, unfolding deception, leading many to err. Woe unto the people for they cannot see nor understand. Theirs is a land gone astray. The ground opens; hell releases itself upon the land. Bloodshed to bloodshed, Harlotries to harlotries, Deceivers to deceptions, Mockers to cruel liars, From unbelief to mockeries, it is released, Upon a people, upon a land, upon a nation. These stand upon their pride, Those who refuse to acknowledge their sins, Whose shepherds are perverse, and their prophets who push lies for truth, Who do not know the Lord God of Hosts, Who do not understand the signs, Nor do they hear my warnings,
For their eyes are closed, their ears full of wax so they cannot hear. For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. (Jer 4:22)
This is a people, wise to do evil. These are those who love it so. Israel was led away captive for her sins. Jerusalem was destroyed and her temple taken down. Judah was humbled. Ephraim was chastised. Yea, all these were overcome by their sins and their pride. A people in love with Idolatries,
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. (1Th 5:6-10)
Who sought bread, wine, and fineries. Who gave glory to their idols, while marveling at the works of their hands. Yea, all this they loved more than their God. Thus, the Lord sent them destructions. Thus, the Lord removed them. Thus, the Lord recompensed them for their doings. Shall you not learn from them? Shall you not understand who has done this? The Lord God of Hosts that is who!
My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. (Hos 4:12)
The God of Hosts, He it is who removes the ‘Spirit of Whoredoms’ from the land. He chastises those who call him Lord, but do not what he says. This is the Lord! He who removes the wicked from the land, And cleanses the bloodguilt from the earth. Yea, the wicked will not stand on that day, They will be recompensed saith my God. Iniquity receiveth the wages of death! Righteousness passes into the gates of our God.
They give not up their habitual doings, To turn back unto their God, For a spirit of whoredoms is in their midst, And Jehovah they have not known. (Hos 5:4)
Hearken now O ye dumb ones, those who deny the existence of the I AM, Listen to this now, you who refuse to acknowledge the Lord of Hosts, Yea, all those who refuse our God, hear now and tremble. For the Lord God will walk through your land with sword and fire. He will utterly remove the vileness, He will cleanse the iniquity, He will establish his kingdom, For the Lord God of Hosts is calling all the heathen to account. The Lord God of Hosts is sifting his people.
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. (2Pe 2:18)
This is the day O ye people, Hearken, listen, and understand. If ye do, do this that ye might live, Repent and Seek the Lord! For he is establishing righteousness in the earth, Yea, hear ye him today while he calls. Will you consider this today o man, he summons you. Yea, you will come, you will appear before his court of justice. Are you ready O’ man? Prepare O’ nations, for the Lord will step up to challenge you! His will be done O’ ye kings and princes! Your day of vanity is closed, today the day of the LORD begins, The day of the Lord God of Hosts.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2Pe 3:10-13)

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (1Pe 2:5)
Let the weak look to me. Let the humble regard the LORD. Pursue Him, for His grace is given. Mercy is to him, who comes, But the wicked, let him fear me, The proud also, let them be thrown down, The nations as well, let them be cast down, For the LORD Cometh.
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (1Pe 2:6)
Yea, those who are wise, Truly, truly, those who are of understanding, Again, those who are wise, FEAR the LORD. Let thy fear honor Him who name is Eternal. Let thy fear humble thyself before the King, Yea, the Lord of Hosts.
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. (1Pe 2:7-8)
For the Lord will lift these up, Yea, He will hide thee during the dark hour, For the Lord will save those, Yea, all who call upon His name will be saved. For His name is Mercy, Let the Righteous of the Lord say so; His name is Grace, His name is the LORD God Almighty, In Him, let thyself be found, And in His son Jesus [Yshua] Christ [Messiach] For the day is Here. The day of his Indignation. Let the Righteous of the Lord Shout for Joy.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1Pe 2:9-10)

I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Will he prevail or will the faith of the People fighting against the darkness win?
