Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. The Apostle Paul writes in Hebrews, chapter six verses eighteen to nineteen “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the #hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entered into that within the veil.” Sustaining Hope brings us to part fifteen in our series Discipleship Occupy till I come. Sustaining Hope brings us to part fifteen in our series Discipleship Occupy till I come. Have you laid your anchor in Jesus Christ, Yeshua yet? Your Hope and Anchor must be laid secure. The nations of men and their gods are today leading multitudes into the arms of the coming Dark One, known as the Beast in Revelation chapter 13. Yet for many today the simple truth is living in today’s world is never easy. The lessons are hard and painful to learn. Yet through Christ Jesus we have a secure Hope, for Yeshua overcame the world and so can everyone found in Christ Jesus. If you don’t know the Lord then find your Hope and Saviour today, he is calling the nations of men to repent. Believe me when I tell you the stories of people coming to the Lord today are grouped in the massive revivals going on. The Devil wants people to believe that everything is Hopeless, curse God and die is their message. Today, Jesus Christ wants you to live a life found, secured, and led by Him, our Savior and Lord.

Sustaining Hope sets the anchor of the soul. As in a boat, you must set the anchor to keep from drifting. Today’s world is dangerous and anti-Jesus Christ. As the Lord warned us that they hated him, so too they will hate his disciples. Our Anchor is Jesus Christ, but He is after the Order of Melchisedek. One divinely appointed and one which there is not beginning and end. Our Anchor, lay in our faith and trust in Jesus Christ which must be focused on our Lord and Savior. For our Hope in #ChristJesus is an #anchor for the soul, we won’t drift nor lose our refuge. This Hope is eternal as well. As we live we have hope and #trust in our #Savior #JesusChrist, #Yeshua. He provides the only sure #redemption through His #atoningblood. God is the author and finisher of that Hope and it is impossible for God to lie. That is the #foundation of our #Hope, which #God declared; sent #HisSon to provide #atonement, and has set our goal of #Heaven before us with all temporal things behind us.
