Israel found out early, very early. #Abraham already knew and believe, thus this #faith was accounted to Abraham as #righteousness. A glimpse into #justification by Faith. Here we find #Jerusalem with an enemy at the gates. The people find out that no matter the enemy, the #Lord is Lord and is not threatened. #Jerusalem was eventually taken by the #Babylonians but the #Assyrians were removed as a threat. #Israel learned and saw the #powerofGod and exalted the Lord on that day of deliverance. However, lesson short lived; since #Judah backslid and, in the days, #Jeremiah who warned them to repent the city found itself threatened and taken by #Babylon. A very perinate lesson for all nations. Do what you do at your own risk, for there is a #God who will #judge all #men and #nations.

Exalted Lord Defines our next portion of Isaiah’s Prophetic book. In part 85 we are going through Isaiah’s Prophecy directed at Judah concerning the entire Assyrian move against Judah. It is here that Jerusalem faced one of its most dangerous foes. When speaking of Jerusalem as believers we know how this city has been conquered, re-conquered, and has had lots of bloodshed within and without its walls. There is no doubt Jerusalem is today a place we look at as Zion. Only the future city of God which comes down from heaven, the heavenly city, the bride; the one we consider Zion will be fulfilled. See Revelation for this. The most important item here is that the Lord will be Exalted and not flesh on that day. Nor on the day of Judgment is flesh exalted; but only the Lord is Exalted in his righteous Justice and Judgment
