Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Gospel of Peace brings to the forefront this week’s Advocacy for the persecuted church. The gospel must be declared, in peace, and love to those who hear it. While those who do listen may be cautious or even fearful because of the dangers the listeners face, many embrace the Gospel. For when the Gospel is preached by anointed Followers of the Lord, the Spirit of God will confirm the word. There is ample evidence today by those who have heard the Gospel and received it that the Power within it is Revelatory. It is expansive, dramatic, in the world bringing truth no matter whether the world wants it or not. This week’s Advocacy broadcast points to this Gospel of peace, along with Consequences for Believers, the redemption of Souls, and the truth of life and death. Today with the world in turmoil many are the dangers to the global population. Within this are those who actively make war against anyone who touches, follows, or accepts the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Yet, we find revivals, one after another gathering in hungry souls for Truth and Salvation. It is as the Apostle Paul teaches in Romans the tenth chapter, verses twelve to thirteen. It reads as follows. “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Gospel of Peace brings that one hope that those in the world have of true redemption and Salvation. For there is only One Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostles knew he rose from the dead and also watched him ascend into heaven. He is coming again in Power to reward the #Saints, #Judge the #wicked, and #Restore the #earth and all that is #therein. Yet, above all that is the fact, people are redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb to everlasting life. Yet in the midst of all this is the fact that how can people hear the gospel without a Preacher? If a Preacher who declares the truth of the #gospel must have been sent in order for someone to hear them. In the end not all people obey the gospel or respond to it. The bottom line here is that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the #WordofGod as the Apostle declares. It is as the #ApostlePaul describes in Romans the Tenth chapter, verses fourteen to seventeen. “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they #preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, #Lord, who hath #believed our report? So then #faith cometh by hearing, and #hearing by the #wordofGod.” #GospelofPeace
