In Your Mercy Deliver Me Oh Lord

(14) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. (15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (16) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Heb 4:14-16

In Your Mercy Deliver Me Oh Lord

RESH: The letter Resh, corresponds to our “r”. The prayer here is, that God would look upon his trial; that he would regard it as it really was; that he would not turn away from it, or pass it by, as if it were a trifle – a thing not worthy to claim his attention. Albert Barnes on Psalm 119:153

(153) Resh. Consider mine affliction and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.  (154)  Plead my cause and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.  (155)  Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.  (156)  Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.  (157)  Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.  (158)  I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved, because they kept not thy word.  (159)  Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.  (160)  Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever.

Psa 119:153-160

Deliverance in the Day of Affliction

O Lord have mercy upon me.
In thine comfort, help me, O God.
In thine mercy, deliver me O Lord of Hosts.
Be thou my strength and guide me…
Direct me in thy righteousness…
Establishment me in the day of adversity…
That I may be found in thy grace…
O my God, My King, and my deliverer.
Bring me unto the pasture of thy provision…
Feed me O Lord in thy mercy…
Let me walk in thy truth O God.
For you are my hope.
In you do I rest, O my Lord.
For you are a righteous God…
The Eternal Father…
Full of Grace…
Thy Mercy extending to thousands of generations.
Shine upon me O God…
In your abundance…
During the day of affliction…
Deliver thou me…
O Lord, My King.
For you are a Great God…
A mighty King,
The creator and Lord.
In you do I rest…
In you I find safety.
O Lord my Rock…
Unmovable, be thou my salvation…
Through thy Son Yeshua Ha Mashiach…
The Son of God…
The only Begotten of the Father…
Full of Grace and Truth…
Jesus Christ, name above all names…
Blessed be the name of the LORD.

Dispatched

I have said in my soul
Blessed be thy name O Lord God
Most High, Everlasting Father.
For it comes, as a night falleth,
The day is gone into darkness,
The sun removes itself past the horizon.
It is coming, one hoof beat…
Two hoof beats, then three, now four.
Now Cometh the day of learning…
Respond ye well to this?
Advance to the altars.
Break open the Word.
Feast while ye may,
For the day turneth into night.
Plague, destruction, behold it comes.
Hoof beats of the horse with rider.
Death, plague, famine, and war sit atop.
Listen ye nations.
Harken ye peoples.
For ye have said “we will not hear.”
Yet ye will listen!
Yet ye will hear!
For the Lord’s fury proceedeth.
The Lords Fist striketh the Post.
Yea, upon the Altar shall ye find no rest?
In your hearts will ye not listen?
For I send the thing upon you.
Yes, it is coming, quickly,
Upon the land, now go hide.
Call upon your own strengths.
Go to your own harlotries for comfort.
Go to your own Gods, if they could help!
See if they can deliver you from my hand!
For yet awhile and then the fist striketh.
I am weary with your harlotries.
I am weary with your foolishness.
I will blow upon you.
Ye shall wither within the fierceness.
The wrath shall not be dispelled,
Yea, until it is finished.
Awake O nations and gather yourselves.
See what you can do!
Remove yourselves to safety if you can find it.
For I shake all things.
I bring it upon you.
Ye shall surely know it is I.
For I have called, and you have not listened.
For I have wooed you and you have rejected me.
Thus, keep to your ways.
Find the end of such wisdom.
For the way of your foolishness is death.
For the Eternal One reigneth.
Yes, Everlasting to Everlasting,
I AM He.

Day of Affliction and Dispatched are Psalms, written by the Watchman Dana G Smith. We feature an excerpt from Scripture out of Hebrews and a section from Psalms 119 that features the use of ‘Resh’. This makes a focus upon the efforts of the writer to appeal to the Lord to listen and hear his petition for deliverance. In today’s world, Christians need to understand and learn the use of the Psalms and other scripture to appeal to the Lord, to bind the powers of darkness, and find deliverance in affliction that will bring Hope and Peace, along with Joy and Praise that the Lord has delivered us. Herein, we go to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus, Yeshua; Christ in praise, joy, and to seek his help.

This is one of the Psalms of the Watchman that come from His writings, psalms, and prose. From the Writings of the Watchman Dana G Smith come these special writings and articles.
