Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Kingdom Gospel greets the world as major troubles spills into various nations. What began in Iran now has some company, today we look at the issues of continued imprisonment of Christians, harsh treatment, and even death. It is true that a growing Islam has problems with free speech and other issue which Christians find offensive. First up is forced marriage, Christians persecuted, and free nations like Canada, the U.K., and others who seem to be taken over by Muslims pushing the overthrow of former Christian nations. Along this avenue many are watching the possibility of the Iran war increasing with more nations joining the conflict. It is a wait and see time for many. However, even though Iran has been hit hard they are treating Christian Prisoners increasingly harsh. The Lord Jesus Christ warned the Apostles of these days. We find the record in Matthew chapter twenty-four, verses three to six. It says clearly of the troubles at that time saying: “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

That is why our Lord warned us at the beginning of His Kingdom teach to the Apostles that we were to “take heed no man deceive you.” Non-the-less, we do have teachings in America and the modern world that are #heretical. Along with many generations of young people in #America who have not a clue what is being said heretofore. The verses above are the just the #beginning of #things to #come. He goes further in His warnings. These are found in verses eight to fourteen and say the following: “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. #KingdomGospel, #ApostolicTeachings
