Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Labor Day Toil and Trouble is along with the rest of the calendar year one huge bucket of trouble. Riots, pillaging, murders, fires, open borders, inflation, supply shortages, and more. If those who know what is happening, here the conservatives, and others who are awakened to the agenda to Marxism in America don’t do something, then there won’t be a Labor Day. Today we have Pres. Joseph Biden. Meanwhile, we remember former President Donald Trump whose MAGA is hated by the Dems and other libs. The fact is, he worked to put jobs and manufacturing back in America. Both parties in the past have neglected this and have romanced globalism and the UN. This post is a Republished, edited, and upto date article. Labor Day Toil, Trouble, and Things you need to know. On this Labor Day let it find you holding to the point that we need America first, jobs first, and for American corporations to be in this nation. We need manufacturing, coal jobs, and energy industries to be a mainstay in this nation. However, despite all these things mentioned, securing our border, and avoiding nuclear war is on the top of my list.
But in this article, be sure this day is for those who have labored, toiled, and despite trouble continue to work and support their families. The biggest threat to our freedoms of late is globalist agendas from the world empire of globalist ideals the UN, E.U., NATO, and other international groups of the rich and powerful like George Soros or Klaus Schwab who believe their influence can change America into what they think it should be. On this Labor Day, Rise up oh workers and let the nation know you are aware of their agendas. You know how they have short changed American jobs and workers. The truth is when we look back in history on the United States, we find that particularly the working schedules were long, 12 hours a day, and seven days a week. But the real threat lies closer to you than you may realize!
Labor Day Toil and Trouble Facts about Labor Day
That is, if you have a job besides the farm or ranch. I know that in the sixties, my grandfather worked our family farm many hours a day. His day started at 4am to milk the cows and went all day and into the night. He could have worked easily from four in the morning to four in the afternoon. Take out the breakfast and lunch he had then see that he worked past four in the afternoon, yes, his days were long.
In that ritual of early Americana, children also worked in the factories, newspapers, and elsewhere doing jobs. Child labor and poor pay. However, people did those jobs for a long time. But on September 5th, 1882, 10,000 workers marched in the first Labor Day parade, and many did so without getting paid for the time they took off. It was US President Grover Cleveland who finally under pressure from voters signed the bill making Labor Day a National Holiday in 1894.
However, the actual founder of Labor Day is up for dispute. While many believe the cofounder was the American Federation of Labor leader Peter J. McGuire was the one who first proposed Labor Day, others question it. There are those who believe the secretary of the Central Labor Union Matthew Maguire was the one who proposed it.
In the Labor Day proposal, it was outlined as to how the public should celebrate the holiday. They were to have a street parade to show the public “the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations of the community”. Following the parade there was to be a “festival for the recreation and amusement of the workers and their families.”
Over the years Labor Day has become more of a social and economic ideal. But added to that it is viewed as the end of summer, a time when kids go back to school, and of the fall. But I remember in our small hometown the parades. On Labor Day and the Fourth of July were always a time to have a parade and a celebration. Usually, we would also have a circus come to town which also gave reason for a parade. Nevertheless, today Labor Day is not viewed as it was so long ago. For that matter, the American worker has also been targeted by many unfair and bias policies. American jobs and corporations have gone overseas since the globalist push by our leaders in Washington.
In addition, companies like Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Target, and others buy more foreign goods. Especially Chinese manufacturing and production of many items like kitchenware and other items. Just look at the shelves of Walmart. Go to the kitchen section of the store and look at all the labels and you will find all of them from China. Therefore, today America is in the throes of globalization by knuckle headed politicians and presidents who pursue agendas that throw American’s out of jobs and out of work. The push by Obama to shut down all carbon, coal, and oil initially was successful. However, President Trump stymied Obama’s agenda. President Biden made his latest successful push to pursue shutting down carbon and related industries agenda. In Wyoming, North Dakota, and elsewhere these jobs were shuttered, many out of work, and major coal companies bankrupt. Trump gave them hope and help. Now thanks to Biden our prices are high and people in the oil industry are working hard. Nevertheless, Biden has done many things to harm the American oil and gas agenda along with American jobs. On this Labor Day the American worker is still being replaced by foreign jobs and by foreigners who come to our nation brought in by our government.
Moreover, on this Labor Day we have a President that has pushed to accept more foreigners into our nation. He is doing so by reclassifying those who come across our southern borders and elsewhere as refugees. But these reclassified individuals are not refugees. They are then eligible for the U.S. Refugee Admissions program. On this Labor Day the biggest enemy there is, just happens to be our President and his co-conspirators to flood America with illegals and refugees. To provide for them and give them what they need to live. Meanwhile Americans and the middle-class struggle with unemployment, high health care costs, and they do not get all the freebies that these foreigners get. While indeed something needs to be done to help them, our nation does so at the expense of the American worker.

On this Labor Day the note here to put in a memo is that “America is under judgment”. I have been warning for over two decades of this to come. While we are not yet in full judgment the fact is, this nation is loaded heavy with sins and rebellion against the Lord God.
