Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Last Days Scoffers do that which the message of truth tells them. Yet as the danger settles in, the stubborn, hardhearted, and rebellious reject the offer of their own redemption. Their blood is on their own heads. The message is clear for all peoples but will they listen. The charge is to repent, seek the Lord with all your heart. Deny not the Lord Jesus Christ and follow him in truth. As many Christians today face terrible persecution and as other armies of darkness prepare to have their own way at this time; the Lord Himself will stop them. For He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Last Days Scoffers amidst the Deception of the end of days will make for dangerous bedfellows. This is especially true if you are caught up in your life with too many distractions to find where you stand with the Lord. In the nations of men, we find danger and deception with all the turmoil of nations going on. Even in the middle of troubled nations and the wondering hearts of people, it is a miraculous thing if they find the Lord. As if today the Lord is lost and nowhere to be found by gullible, misled, young people. Yet as the troubles come and go we find the biggest issues is not the redemption of people. Not at all. With a thousand issues what is a person to do. The issues today is being misled, distracted, deceived, and/or being one of those scoffers in these last days who decry a True and Living God. But deception is there in front of many who do not see the forest of deception for the trees standing before them.

The last Days Scoffers behold the events this week we find the people ride the horses of the apocalypse with the cloud of deception into the abyss of the night as the trumpet sounds and the people cry for help. The help is in the Lord, Almighty found in Revelation chapter One. We ride this week on the cloud of events and turmoil of nations to discuss the persecuted believers in Jesus Christ. But these troubles are the beginning of sorrows and troubles for many.
