Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Love of God finds despite the opposition; the #Gospel goes forth. Herein, is the Love of God that is embedded in the hearts and souls of believers worldwide. We also find the works of darkness, unclean spirits, and devils working to thwart the plan of God. Also, despite the #Persecution of #Christians on a global scale, there continues the preaching of the gospel and the gathering of believers together. Herein, we look at the words of Jude in his letter to the saints. He warned of Mockers who walked after their own ungodly lusts. Here in America, we also have #mockers, and #ungodlylusts and the battle continues daily on the streets of America. #Lawlessness, #darkness, #rebellion, #pride, #hatred, and more flow in open air markets and streets. All propelled by #darkness using those gathered on the streets of America to push their group ideals that is counter to #American values and #beliefs. In this we also find Jude’s own words that fit hand and glove in today’s society. Here he lays out how to walk and be prepared for what believers encounter. It is found in verses twenty to twenty-three saying “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most #holyfaith, #praying in the #HolyGhost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the #mercy of our #LordJesusChrist unto #eternallife. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. The Key here is walking in the #LoveofGod and the #SpiritofGod.” Herein also is bloodguilt which is found in the #murderousrampages of the wicked against the followers of #JesusChrist.
