Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. As the global persecution ramps up and takes the lives of many Christians and their families, those waiting in line like hungry lions look for the opportunity to kill, murder, maim, their enemies who are Christians. The biggest enemy of Christians and their Christ are Jihadist Muslims. The essence of the Christian is love Powered by Jesus Christ our Lord to the Glory of our Great God and Father.

As the Apostle Paul shares in his epistles, we take a moment to affirm as Paul said writing to Philemon saying in chapter one, verses four to seven “I thank #myGod, making mention of thee always in my prayers, Hearing of #thylove and #faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. It is simple, the “Love of Christ” is the power that keeps the saints and brings in all who are hurting and want to know Christ #Jesus more! There is nothing more loving than to refresh the bowels, spirit, and mind of persecuted Christians. As well, the #Love of #Christ propels us to #loveallpeople and do what we can to love them into the #KingdomofGod. We are more than conquerors through our #Lord who gave himself for our sins. Today he is #LordofLords and #KingofKings and is coming soon. No amount of #persecution can overcome us, even upon death we are #victorious through #JesusChrist and the #Redemption found in Him who #lovedusfirst and gave himself for #oursins. #LoveofChrist.
