However, there is the opposition and this group called the Remnant knows who is behind the threat and takeover of America. It is here that a large man with a beard and a smile on his face is speaking at a remote Wyoming Ranch. The secluded meeting is about to end, however as he speaks, the room is quiet. The Prophet is well known among the group by now, but he does not seek publicity.
“The Best Laid Plans of Men cannot stop us Now!”
Nephilim, the Thirteenth Floor, Lucifer Risen; these three events are here already. It is a battle between forces and the array of plots, battles, and plans are made. There are those who will tell you this. They know! Now deep within the Thirteenth Floor of the underground base the secret is revealed. They don’t advertise it, but they are giddy with excitement because the Best Laid plans of men cannot stop them now!
“I can tell you assuredly that the Nephilim are alive and well on Planet earth” said the Prophet in a deep voice with authority. Then he added. “These sightings and others will continue because the Nephilim are not alone, there are others and they will indeed contact man. They will say they are Gods come down to earth. These beings will make the argument that they made man and are back to help him move to the next level of awareness. The deception is moving forward and mankind who has rejected the ‘Love of the truth’ will be convinced to what they say as being true. But the fact is, the Nephilim, as well as these other beings will play a large role in the end of days.” Looking at his watch, the Prophet then turned to see his aid Benjamin giving him the sign they needed to go. “Friends I must be going I have an important engagement I cannot miss. Until next time look to the Lord”. With that he departed.

At another location deep at level thirteen, a monitor turns off and the General and the Colonel only smile at each other. Around them are a group of people dressed in long robes.
“It is going on as planned, it is going to be a grand day when Lucifer is finally revealed” The Colonel and the General clanged a toast of brandy and sipped it as everyone said, “Hail Lucifer.” Then as they finished their toasting, a large table, filled with all sorts of food for the guests was ready. They all poured over the delicacies, taking their favorites and then each one grabbed their favorite liquor and sat down. Soon the hall was filled with talking and beyond them a double door opened and as they sat there a figure came into the room. There was a bright light that seem to clothe him from head to foot. Accompanying him, one on the right and the other on the left were two very large angelic beings. They stood before the crowd and a glow came out from the center one who was dressed in a white business suit and tie. He had golden blonde hair which also radiated and looked at his guests smiling. At once the crowd arose and started chanting ‘Hail Lucifer, Hail Lucifer, and Hail Lucifer’ and as they quieted down he spoke.

In light of today’s events the stories premise is completely plausible. Spiritual warfare is definitely being fought over nations and the very institutions and people who govern them.
Remnant Christians around the globe face mockery, persecution and even death. Although this novel concentrates upon America it is very much an identifiable experience worldwide. The power of prayer against Lucifer and his minions, whether spiritual, Nephilim or human, was faith activating and inspirational. The inclusion of a true prophet of God and the redeeming nature of Christ can’t help but impact believer and non believer alike. Can’t wait for the next book.. Comment by R.M.
Col. Schmidt is on evil man, driven by hate/pride/lust for power. Mac, the hardened veteran, has various conflicting emotions, since he did work for the Col in the past. The elitists who sold their souls to the devil long ago, are anticipating seats of prominence, when their god takes control of earth. Black ops used to further their goals, while deluding humanity… Steel the Darkness will keep you in suspense, but always trust the Lord… Comment by G.S.

Steel the Darkness is a Radical Biblical Christian story with roots in today’s events. While the characters are varied, the events and the situation is plausible.
We find the Hitleresque leader known as the “Colonel” heading up the blood thirsty battle to assassinate and destroy the Remnant. The Remnant is headed up by the “Rev”. As the Colonel is bloodthirsty and a cold blooded assassin; the Reverend is dedicated to protecting the biblical foundation and values he grew up with. Surrounded by an army of dedicated Christians, they find themselves in over their heads as all hell breaks loose.
