Noah Found Grace – In these days of the end, our Lord warned to not be deceived. It is paramount to understanding the last days. Yet, in these last days the Lord Jesus Christ reminded us that these days would be like unto the Days of Noe. In the day of evil and judgment God looked on Noah with favor. It is important to know that if Noah found grace, then so can you!

Noah Found Grace So Can You
Parable of the Grand old House
There was a man who built an exceptionally large house. The length, breadth, and height thereof no builder had ever built. In the world that therein was, this house was admired by all. No one could understand how he was able to build such a place.
The grandeur of it was of gold and silver trimmings. The finest Cedar that could be obtained was used as well. Hard woods, exotic woods, and the finest craftsmen were employed to help build it.
When it was done, the man looked upon it and said it was incredibly good. In fact, anyone would say that no fault could be found within it or on it. Perfectly created, a fine work like no other. As time passed, the house was kept up and many visited it. Throughout all the known world there was no other house like it.
Over time, time, and times; the owner went on a long journey. He left it in the hands of his sons. Days and years passed until that time when no direct lineage owned the house anymore. It became rundown. Many people would enter it and live. But none cared for it like the original owner. It became so bad in misuse, many stopped coming. Weeds overgrew the place, windows broken, and all the gold and silver were stolen. In fact, nothing of value was left. A broken shell of a place until one day, a man appeared.
To him it was valuable. Everyone was astonished to see he had purchased it. For a fact, the word got around it took only a song and a dance. Whatever the case, no one gave him much heed thinking he was nuts. He became the butt of jokes. However, one by one they came to help him fix the old run-down house. Soon it was on a special day that the owner with his helpers had an open house.
Jaws dropped open. People cried with excitement. Bonfires were lit and a celebration was held. The place looked as grand as it had ever. Not one spot, wrinkle, tear, or broken tile out of place. The gold and silver were back. The cedar replaced, and the hardwood was refinished. As the people surveyed the place, the man who built it left. No one knew who he was or where he came. But a few knew him and spread his message to all. The ones who knew him, kept the place and it was a grand comfort to all who entered. Their Lord had left but would be back. Meanwhile, they were the keepers of the grand old place. It was to them to work and keep it as he left it. Until the time of his return, when he would reward his servants.

Noah Found Grace So Can You
The story above is a prose or parable which is written to a conclusion. It relates a lesson. Here we can find the church in the house, the man in the Lord Jesus Christ, his servants as those who received him. We could also see America as it was built, God blessed the land and it grew in such a fine and grand place. Yet over time people came who did not honor the country and took what they could get. The land of America became broken, divided, and fell into disrepute. You can take the lesson as you believe it to be. But in life, in the church, or in America; there is one who gives favor.
Today understand in the beginning of the book we can see that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. The world was an evil place, Genesis records God saw that the wickedness of man was very great. Also true was that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually. It repented the Lord he had made man and judgment would follow [Gen 6:5-6]. Later, we find again that God’s creation faced destruction for their sins. All that is, except Noah and his family. For Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Here, I also remind you that the Lord would have destroyed Israel after deliverance from Egypt because of their sins. However, Moses interceded Deu 9:13-14.
We also know that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to judge all men and nations. In between the book of Genesis and Revelation lay many truths of scripture. But one truth is clear, the Lord God is Holy, and no sin can be found. He revealed himself to Moses declaring he was “The LORD, The LORD God”. He further said he was “merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty” Exo 34:6-7.
Today we know of Gods gracious and longsuffering nature. While many do not, when I say we; it refers to those who have received Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, see John 1. For today, many have received the Lord and walk in His light. The house that is built is a temple for those who love the Lord. That temple is the Lord Himself who is coming again.
Meanwhile he lives in us through His Spirit; thus, our bodies are the temple of God. A grand house that cannot be destroyed. You can destroy the temple of our body, but not destroy us. One day we will rule and reign with Christ Jesus on this earth. We shall be Kings and Priests. However, many today have taken that house they call after the Lord’s name and have filled it with their own abominations and lies. They are decrepit and have lost the truth. In their house you will find evil, idols, and every unclean thing. It is true that today the Lord’s warning serves as a mighty voice from the past. From the moment he spoke these words, the truths confronted this generation. These scriptures apply to our day and age.
An age, the Lord says would come when events would play out as in the days of Noe. The major trouble in Noah’s day was the sin. The iniquity of man was great. This evil had grown so bad, so evil; that the Lord repented [was sorry that his creation had turned so wicked]. Here this repented the Lord, for there were those like Enoch and Noah whose piety and fear of the Lord related that they were true Sons of God* at that time. But the fact was, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He was pious and feared God. While the rest were walking in evil. Jesus addresses this speaking to his disciples and others around him. The point here is that the Lord God did not address the angels who sinned at this time, he banned them to darkness and chains. Jesus did not address the Nephilim in the context of Matthew, Mark, or Luke here. He was telling all those who were to be his followers how bad it would be in the societies of men and nations in the last days. The evil that would be prevalent would match that evil of men that occurred in the days of Noe.
It is true that in the evil time of Noe, the Lord God found one here who would have his grace or favor. Many try to say this is related to the fact that Noah’s line was not tainted with the blood of the Nephilim etc. It doesn’t fit the truth here. The point is not blood in us being infected. The point is the heart which will reflect good or evil that is in us. The blood keeps us alive; it does not cause us to sin. Our own motives and propensity to sin is the problem here just as it was in the days of Noah. It is also true, through the blood; atonement is made. So, as Noah found grace in such an evil day; you can find this same grace through the atonement. The blood shed by our Lord Jesus Christ on calvary. This is the Blood covenant.
The truth of our redemption and God’s grace gives us help in time of need. It allows us to have fellowship with Him. For 1st John chapter one says, “if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light; we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin.” We are living in a day and age where people do wickedly, governments persecute their own people, and immorally unjust laws murder innocents. Both governments and people justify their own moral failings and the things they do. But the only solution is to repent and follow Christ Jesus. This is the very thing the world will not do. For as Christ says, “the world hated me before it hated you” John 15:18.
The one truth is that if you don’t believe these things in John chapter one, then you will be lost. There is one solution to the one problem common to all people. The widespread problem is sin, and the solution is Jesus (Yeshua) Christ. The grace and favor of God came through Christ’s atonement on the cross. Our hope comes from the fact that he not only died but rose from the dead and is at the right hand of the Father. He comes soon. Noah found grace to survive the flood with his family. We find that grace today, mix it with faith to find the redemption offered.
It is here, you receive the Lord who is the WORD in John chapter one. He is the incarnate Son of God, i.e. was made flesh. To those who did receive the Lord, to them was given power to become the Sons of God. The righteousness that comes through faith flows out of God’s grace or favor. Grace finds its source in Gods Mercy who loved us. He reaches out, even though; we are sinners. He allows us mercy and grace, his favor. If we believe in the work of atonement on the cross fulfilled by Jesus Christ, then we will be saved. Thus, the righteousness which the children of God have flows through our faith in Jesus Christ. In short, we believe in Him and his work on the cross, confessing our sins, thus repenting. While we are justified by this grace or favor and become the children of God; it is not free. The act of justification is free, paid by Christ on the Cross. However, the disciple of Christ Jesus follows the Lord in obedience and in this world, there is a price. It can cost you persecution, prison, beatings, and death for His name’s sake. So, while you’re receiving and believing of Christ is free for you, the result is there is a cost to follow Christ today. Especially in this wicked world that imitates the days of Noe.
Make no mistake men and women without Christ are dead in sins. They may have religion of some kind; but this without Christ Jesus is fodder for the devil. There is only one savior between God and Man, this is Jesus Christ: Yeshua HaMassiach.
Thus, when we do become born again through his spirit, we are in that relationship with the Father and the Son. We can enter that vail which separated us from our Savior and Lord. We can know Him, seek Him, and find the riches, here the exceeding favor or Grace, he gives us.
Thus, you are saved by this favor of God reaching out to all people. He has reached out by giving of his only begotten Son who died on the cross for our sins. We reach out to him by accepting the fact that God sent his Son to die on that cross. Believing in this, it is accounted to us for righteousness’ sake, just as Abraham believed God and it too; was accounted to Abraham for righteousness’ sake. But know that you and I; along with all believers are created in Christ Jesus to follow God ordained works. We are not to do evil or be wicked.
In closing, the house of this old world is falling apart; as Isaiah says, “the curse has devoured the earth”! Many nations are in turmoil. In America, we find this house is divided and in disrepair. There are enemies in our nation that seek to destroy it. Our politics are full of pride, revenge, unforgiveness, and hate. Your futile attempts to save yourself will not work. Flesh will not redeem you. You must find, seek, and possess the Christ of Calvary. Believe in Him, trust in Him, and cling to Him. The days come when the nations will follow the son of destruction to the death.
It is true today and it was true in Noah’s day. Noah found Grace and So Can You!
