Jesus Christ went first to the Jews and the Apostles were the first ones to be at the side of the Gospel and teachings of the Lord. Later on, however as Acts chapter thirteen records in chapter forty-five and forty-six saying: “But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, it was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.” And that is what the Gentiles did, they received the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Today they are doing the same thing on a global scale. #OrdainedtoEternalLife

Ordained to Eternal life brings us to the story of events in Acts. As we today know of the ongoing persecution and murdering of Christians especially in Africa and the Middle east, we also know there is a hunger from the unbelievers globally who seek the #Lord #JesusChrist and want to know more about salvation. We also know that the Jews after Jesus went to the #cross and then was #resurrected, seen alive by many with infallible proof, he ascended to Heaven had rejected the Lord. Before, the Lord did ascend to heaven; the #greatcommission was released by the Lord to the Apostles. The book of Acts records the Apostles and the results of the proclaiming of the #Gospel to all who would listen. In Acts chapter thirteen verses forty-seven to forty-nine we read; “For so hath the #Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for #salvation unto the #ends of the #earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to #eternallife believed. And the #word of the #Lord was published throughout all the regions.” This is precisely what the #gospel does by the hands of #believers #proclaiming the #redemption found in and through #ChristJesus.
