Ten Commandments -Moses describes in Deuteronomy how he received the covenant at Horeb. He relates this to remind the children of Israel. America and those of faith, saw the validity to base our laws and system on these The Ten Commandments. While today, America veers from its original Judeo-Christian heritage; the truth remains.
And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

The WORD, Light, and Life
The WORD, Light, and Life bring to us the testimony of John in the first chapter. The apostle John made sure that his testimony began with The Word. It is also reference by 1st John chapter one, which further describes the Lord Jesus Christ as the Word. John 1 tells us he was in the beginning, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John relates that he made all things. In Him was life and the life was the light of men. 1st John tells us the Apostles witnessed first-hand this WORD, this Life, and saw this Light.
