Lamb of God – Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. These were Paul’s words to the Gentile Christian church at Corinth. Of course, there were Jews in Corinth as well. The point being here, that Paul and the Apostles all taught in the early church about Passover and the meaning under the New covenant. For Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people, this is written in Hebrews 9:28.

Jesus Christ [Yeshua HaMassiach] was the once for all sacrifice, propitiation, atonement, mercy, love of God, offering, blood atonement, faith, redemption, and all for the sinner. Yet as we were redeemed, we were also to purge out or remove the old leaven of sins and rebellion. Thus walking in the Light as He, our Lord Jesus Christ walked, read 1st John chapter one. There was to be a difference between us and the world.
