The Psalmist was determined to sing of the power and mercy of the Lord in the Morning. He uses two words, which in English the first one is Defense strong H4498 and the other one Refuge also strong H4498. Two different words in English, Defense and Refuge from the same Hebrew word.

When I think of Defense I see fighting, castles, and even America being protected by those who fought to keep her free. People like my dad, Grandfather, and even myself, although my stint was not as threatening as World War II or One. Vietnam was a bad kicker, and many lost their lives in this political war. I personally hated Nam and have ever since. It was a bad taste and the public demonstrations led by liberal activists made sure everyone in Nam who was fighting for America were blamed.

Then I see Refuge here again the same Hebrew word as the English Defense. But in Refuge I don’t see fighting I see safety. A place of rest. Today, America, Europe, and other nations have become that refuge from the Islamic jihadists who fight a never-ending battle to subdue the world. It is not going away and with politicians even in Europe who give quarter and make excuses for Islam, the real menace is closer to home. Americans know today that the Biden administration is in the White House. Although the fruits thereof are more reminiscent of a carnival than anything resembling an American Presidency. We remember what was going on before Biden was elect. Here I mention some warnings that were ongoing at the time. We begin here when Alex Jones released more articles on Antifa. The major threat was more violence and this time Antifa swears they will stop at nothing to get that chaos they want! Thus, Jones among others were warning that a massive thrust by liberals to subdue the dreaded conservative and the Trump agenda is coming along with the violence of Antifa. They would make sure the many groups will hit precisely at election time and the voting places. We remember how the democrats heralded these thugs and not held them accountable at all. The difference between Liberals, the Soros global stratagem, and conservatives is a world apart. Thus, the troubles turned America upside down from where it was.

Truly, if ever there was a need it would be today for a Defense and a Refuge from those who want to destroy civilization. We see many enemies on the horizon like Russia, China, Iran, and those Marxists within America. My dad was in the South Pacific as a Navy medic because of Japan’s threat. At the same time Germany’s Hitler was a threat to the world as well. What the servicemen and women never thought was while they were fighting this global threat there would be enemies living in the homeland of America. Today the many decades of festering Marxism have made this nation vulnerable.
But I will sing of thy power; yes, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy.

Indeed, during Korean war, Vietnam, and in the middle east beginning with Sadaam Hussein; we were losing the America that had stood for over two hundred years. The constitution, bill of rights, and all we knew were being sacrificed at the altar of globalism by political interests and lots of money at home. The threat to our freedom was not from Japan, Germany, Vietnam, or Korea! The real threat lay in the center of the political stink at our nation’s capital and in many other states around America. Today California leads the nation in anti-Trump, anti-constitutional, and political rebellion. While most of America dreads the Biden administration’s mishandling of the America they are in charge of, California and other liberal states bask in sunshine of Soro’s money, Marxist ideologies, and anti-Christ ethics.
Many would ask why this is happening? While that is important, the real issue here is our children and their children and the children beyond these. Generations of American kids brainwashed at the altar of liberalism and anti-Christian hate. In liberal universities led by communist and socialist sympathizers have taught our own kids to hate what America was. They lead these kids into perverse ideas of sex, marriage, and freedoms. Today we are awash in sick, filthy, and obstinate kids who persist in their evils despite being oblivious to the judgment of God.
As I have seen this happening, I looked at the causes. Besides educational system failures in America; they failed to brainwash every kid. There are many children who have grown up and are not at all liberal hacks or on the edge of hell because of their sinful ways. In fact, conservatism and Christianity has not gone away. Going back to the Trump administration we saw them tap into this and was elected despite the odds. To be sure the globalists, liberals, Marxists, and many others were horrified by Trumps win. He scared the hell out of the liberals in Hollywood, DC, and in corporations. It also scared the globalist techies who are billionaires. So, Facebook, Google, Twitter, PayPal, and many others took to the battle and joined Democrats. The battle today is being waged on every front in America backed by Soros and other globalist billionaires.
To understand more fully, I know that one of the biggest culprits is Hollywood, and the television set, or today the computer. Technology has put the lightning rod on information and wickedness. Today evil is good and good evil. Sex with robots is okay, uniting human flesh with robotic help and technology is also okay. News blasts the internet 24/7 and is a torrent of filth, hate, and agendas. It is anti-God unless someone like me at the WIBR/WARN Radio takes a place on the internet for the Lord. But I am not alone, there are many others who use the net for the Lord. Yet despite our efforts, goodness is being flushed away by the tidal wave of evil that finds its way into the homes, onto the smartphones of your kids, and into the schools. This is sending more kids and their parents to hell than at any other time.
In addition, let me take you on a journey of just one liberal media giant. This one I will speak of is among the myriad of left-wing bias in America. But some major liberal instigators are NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and others all push this globalist liberal anti-God agenda. They represent a God but only the god of this world, i.e. Satan, Lucifer, the Dragon. Most networks have sitcoms where the female roles have a smart card in them while the males look like incompetent idiots. I have looked over some of these shows over the many years and the day of Father Knows Best or Leave it to Beaver or Andy Griffith is over. In fact, most shows we used to watch are considered laughable by many.
Today the feminists hold major production roles including writing in many of the Hollywood and Television shows today. The power and prestige to females, ridicule to males, and the roles of males and females have been compromised for many years now. Today little girls and boys are confused especially if they do not have a true biblical role model to follow. The devil loves confusion and today sex change, transgender, and love of the same sex is commonplace and pushed. Paul warns of society without natural affection -2 Tim 3:3. Indeed this is today’s world. Mothers lose their natural affection for kids and to have them. Women and men losing the natural affection for the opposite sex. This loss of natural affection is the cornerstone of the breakup of the family.
On CBS for instance, like many other shows, the biggest attraction is police shows, spy thrillers, and excitement. This is the Roman ring in America. In Rome they watched Gladiators fight one another, Christians get eaten by lions, and pulled apart by Elephants or burned alive. Today the public sits in front of television, large screens seventy-two inches of Ultra High definition to watch the most bloody, hateful, and unreal portrayal of society there is.
All these feature ultra-hateful and bloody bad guys and girls. They fight, like Bruce Lee and conquer like Attila the Hun. The blood and gore are never ending as the legal police officers and secret agents go after them. From Muslim extremists to serial murderers, this filth is pumped out all the time. This is exciting to many and entertaining; but the truth is it is revealing. These shows use actual cases to use as a foundation for their stories. But one of the most terrifying themes these shows have. The most occurring theme that is the same in all of them sooner than later. The one you need to understand is this. They all show America and Americans threatened, blown up, murdered, scared, and the nation itself on the verge of collapse. They aim to show you an America that will be destroyed for the enemy is among us today! He or she is in our schools, our law enforcement, our political establishments, and/or crossing our borders.
For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which, they speak. Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

I want to remind you of the Trump election. If you remember how hateful, disrespectful, and the lengths the liberals and their supporters would go to have their own way. There were many threats to Trump, the beat down of his supporters, censoring of conservatives. Further they continue to hate conservatives and if you are one or a believer in Jesus Christ; then you’re a target as well. We have young adults who think nothing of following destructive and thuggish ways today. We think nothing of the constant hatred, threats, and Hollywood itself using their platform to push the agenda to destroy the family, America, and Christian values.
So today, my refuge America has become a threat and the enemy is among us. The End of Day trouble is here, and our defense has been compromised. No longer Christian thought, values, biblical morals, and common sense are used. Today America is on a train to hell. More than ever, a person needs a refuge, and that refuge is Jesus Christ.
Today, the real refuge and defense is the Lord God and our Father and his Son who is the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ. As the Psalmist says, “For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which, they speak -see quote above”. Be sure, we know that the time of the night and the power of darkness is already pushing the lawlessness warned of by Paul in 2 Thessalonians chapter two. Its power and reach are everywhere. People all over the world are looking for a Refuge and a Defense; this includes Muslims and Hindu’s. Let us take the truth and the refuge and the defense of the Gospel with its Hope to all. Believe me, today times are perilous, and this is only the beginning. But our Savior will never forsake us or leave us. Finally, as Paul told Timothy; “put on hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” 2 Tim 2:3 so tell I you. We are not to entangle ourselves in the world or the love of it, but to war as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
Therefore, I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
