Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Jerusalem Remnant brings us to point of who is really in charge here. A pompous King Sennacherib with a large army or the #LordGod whose #Prophet #Isaiah is on the scene to declare “thus saith the Lord”. We have covered the threats, the talk, and the back and forth with Rabshakeh. But the deliverance nears even as the #Assyrians ready to break the defenses of #Jerusalem. The whole event is about relationship of a people to their God, these are the #Jerusalem #Remnant. No amount of #heathen can separate them from their #God. They can be separated if they decided to not follow the Lord. There are many situations going on here, even a #righteous #King #Hezekiah who lay on what he believes is his death bed. In the end the promises are fulfilled, and we see the groundwork laid for the next chapter.

To boast against the #Highest #God is foolishness. It is said by Keil and Delitzsch regard a verse herein when the boast of Sennacherib was laid out. They had ravaged, but here we can see that these cities were as K.D. said “The nations in the presence of the Assyrian became, as it were, weak, delicate grasses, with roots only rooted in the surface, or like a cornfield with the stalk not yet formed.” The lesson here is the same one Pharoah of Egypt learned when contesting the release of #Israel from bondage. It is the lesson the nations will learn under the #Judgmentofnations in the #endofdays. Prayer of Deliverance Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt97 on Battle Lines
Prayer of Deliverance becomes the marker of the day when a King servant named #Hezekiah comes directly to the house of the #Lord. It was a troubled time, a day of #rebuke, #blasphemy, and the #enemy came in like a flood. Upon the land, the surrounding nations and #Judah the tide of the enemy swept. Once at the gates of #Jerusalem, the enemy camped triumphantly before the gates and saw nothing but a victory. Yet, Hezekiah went to the Lord with the threats and words of #Sennacherib on paper. He laid it out his #PrayerofDeliverance making his case before the #Lord #GodofHosts. The #Assyrians were not frightened of Judah and felt assured of victory. Yet the threat for Judah was real and those were real warriors who meant to kill, steal, and pillage. In the face of death and threats, the King went to the #KingofKings for help. While Hezekiah had been told by #Isaiah to not be afraid of the Assyrians nor their King, he went before the Lord to make his own humble plea and to reveal the rebuke and blasphemy against the Lord that day.

Israel Contending with the LORD Classic Warn Radio
Israel Contending with the Lord on Classic Warn Radio. Israel, her own people; proved to be their own worst enemy. Israel out of bondage, yet flesh and carnal minds bound by years of Egyptian influence had to be removed. As in all of us, the world and the flesh must go.
Lord led Israel the “longer way around”, lest Israel “i.e. the people change their minds” when faced with war. It was imperative to the Lord to get Israel out! Israel did not have this same idea in regard to this, for many times they wanted to go back to Egypt.
Israel in typical fashion today exemplifies many Christians and churches. It also reminds us of America. So too, with Israel coming out of Egypt, Egypt had to be removed from Israel. This was the task; the Lord was going to do. It would be Moses that would face Israel down in many different troubles that faced these people who came out of Egypt.

Face of Temptation Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt94 on Battle Lines
The Face of Temptation comes to the walls of #Judah. There comes a day of reckoning for the people of #God. If they will hear and obey, then fine indeed. But if they fail to listen, the #chastisement begins and the #FaceofTemptation arrives. For Judah, the proof of trouble is sitting outside the gates of #Jerusalem. On the walls of the city line the soldiers who are charged with defending from attacks. Outside the gate up walks the enemy to address the city. However, the one who speaks, #Rabshakeh is looking to speak to those defending Jerusalem. For a long #siege means no water, no food, and plenty of suffering. As is with the tactics of the #devil, he comes as a friend to coerce you to do things he wants. Here at the wall and gate of the city also stands the messenger for #Sennacherib. #Assyria now holds all the key cards in this game of #life and #death. Yet, as the messenger tells the people on the wall that their God sent the Assyrians to destroy the city; the real issue is who is defending the city. That is the truth which shall be revealed to the Assyrians. For Judah, before #victory comes #temptation. The same today for all #believers in #ChristJesus, #YeshuaHaMassiach.
