Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. They Know Not Him that sent me, the Lord told the disciples as He explained the persecution of those believers who had faith in and walked in Jesus Christ. Today it is rather easy, especially in America and other western nations to dilute the gospel. As John fifteen and verse eighteen and nineteen says “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. It is a time of shared destiny, shared faith, and a home in Heaven with Christ. Don’t delay, join us today!

They Know Not Him that sent me says the Lord as he teaches the disciples. He was addressing the situation with the Jewish leaders who were opposing him and even made a decision to have him killed. The Lord made it clear that the people in the world may have religious ideas, beliefs, and even are strict in their faith. But the faith and adherence unless placed in Jesus Christ to the glory of the Father is the only redemption. Without knowing that Jesus was sent by His Father to redeem all men, faith is futile. We know today true faith in Jesus Christ brings resistance and persecution to multitudes of Christians today. This week we enter into the fact with the persecuted that those who do kill and murder them among other things they might do are doing so because they “know not the Father who sent him”. The only way to the Son is through the Father and the only way to the Father is through the Son. This week we look also at the Eye of the Lord upon the Righteous, the Miraculous, also the brutal attacks. In all this we find faith, the Gospel, bibles and an understanding of the hatred for Christians in many nations.

Yet, in #Africa; especially #Nigeria, whom we cover this week, is brutalizing Christians, while #Pakistan’s Muslims; some at least are prone to poisoning #ChristianChildren. All the while on the Holidays where Christians congregate to celebrate and worship Jesus, like on Easter and Christmas; death stalks these holidays and the Christians who observe them. This week we discuss it. Yet, in spite of the #persecution; the #persecuted 3Christians find help from other Christians who support Faith built #Christian charities who help these persecuted brethren.
