Through the glass Darkly, Hope and Transformation bring us into the arena of Hope and our Future. To be sure that today we are Seeing through the glass Darkly, but one day we shall see all things face to face! Hope and the Transformation from mere human that faces sin, death, and the grave; then to have the ultimate victory over the same sin, death, and the grave through Jesus Christ, yes; it is the victory! For us the ultimate victory who have believed in Christ. It is that Hope and knowing we will see our Lord and be like him, thus transformed into the Children of God. Perfectly redeemed in a Perfect redemption.

Through the glass Darkly, Hope and the Transformation
It is as Paul told the church of believers at Corinth; “now we see through a glass” and that is only “darkly”, not complete. Surely not knowing it all on the other side with Christ and being found in Him. But one day as Paul puts it “but then face to face”; yes, this is our victory from the dark, the knowing of our physical body and life, but then we move to that of Spirit, a new body, and victory in Heaven. Here we are also told that we shall “Know even as also I am Known!”
Moreover, I continually see those online who want to tear down the imagery of our God and Father. Some would like a mother god, while others see no god; and yet others declare Mother Nature is God. Treat Mother Nature as you would God or Treat Mother Nature as you would your own mother. All these items represent a partial knowledge of a supreme being while disavowing his Omnipresence, Omniscience, and Omnipotence. In the beginning God, Genesis says; then you find out he created all.

(12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
John chapter one says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with God.” The Word was made flesh, incarnate, and dwelt among us. This represented the “love of the Truth” in 2 Thess chapter 2 and the “love of God” in John chapter three. It also represented the Son who said “Greater Love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” -John Chapter fifteen and verse thirteen. Thus, the Son of God laid down his life for us on the cross, shedding his blood for our sins.
In addition, the state of man in his unredeemed form presented the facts to the eternal law of God. In this we find “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”, and again “the soul that sinneth shall die”, and again “it is appointed unto man to die and then the judgment”! Because all have sinned, all sinners will die, and finally all will face judgment at the Great white throne judgment. It is here that we find the Lord reminding us in Revelation 22 and verse 11 this “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” The point here is that we shall all be given a reward for our works, good or bad; filthy or righteous and Jesus Christ will be the judge and he is coming soon [see Rev 22:12].
He would see things as he was now seen and would be seen there. It would be face to face. He would be in their presence. It would not be where he would be seen clearly and distinctly, and himself compelled to look upon all objects confusedly and obscurely, and through an imperfect medium. But he would be with them; would see them face to face; would see them without any medium; would see them “in the same manner” as they would see him.

However, as in Christ we have hope and a redeemer; let it be known that mercy and love are not new just because of the new covenant. The new covenant fulfilled the old covenant, and it is sealed by the blood of Christ Jesus and the love which propelled the action. God loved and sent his Son; while his Son loved the Father and us so much, he came to give his life!
Moses heard the LORD speak of this love and mercy. It is out of God’s Love that his mercy allowed his Grace to be showered upon sinful man. Thus, from God’s Love came his mercy and from mercy came Grace. But the vehicle to get to Grace would be faith. To get God’s favor [Grace] we must believe God exists. We cannot accept his redemption if we do not believe he is! By this, through faith we find that God’s Grace was towards us. He sent his son to make a way for us, so we could have hope and redemption and live with him in heaven.
The LORD told Moses that he was “merciful, gracious, and longsuffering; plus, abundant in goodness and truth!” These attributes allowed him to say that the LORD was “Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin.” Our God would not “clear the guilty!” The sins would be dealt with through the redeemer. If the sinner would not repent, then they would face the consequences of their sins. However, God would command “visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.” What a truth! While his love allowed him to keep mercy for thousands and forgive them; his holiness and righteousness would not and could not clear the guilty!” That is why Christ had to come. To clear the guilt from mankind and make a way for all to come back to the LORD God as Sons.
Exo 34:5-8

(5) And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
(6) And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
(7) Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
(8) And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
It is here that today amidst the battle of the end of days, we work to bring the message of the Lord and his redemption to all peoples in all nations. Here is a major point about the redeemer’s redemption. Which you need to understand! There is no other way than to believe in Jesus Christ. Even some churches teach an open-ended deist gospel. All paths lead to God and to heaven. All paths will lead to God, who through Jesus Christ will judge all men. But redemption and Sonship belong only to those who receive him [see John chapter one] and are born again of the Spirit [see John chapter three], and confess their sins [see Romans chapters 3-7, 1 John 1:7-9]. The world, the governments of men, religious orders, and even unbelievers all hate this one-way salvation of the Christian gospel. Christians around the world are being persecuted, killed, and imprisoned for their faith. The major reason is that they are Christians!
But today let us unite in our Hope and the Transformation which we will have in this our journey. Have Hope in Christ Jesus!
