Chosen Generation brings us to part five in the latest series from the Watchman Dana G Smith in The Word of the Lord. It is upon that Word we stand. John begins His gospel with “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. Our entire being of body, mind, spirit, and soul both physical and spiritual can live breathe and have our being because of the Word of the Lord. As our Lord said as it is recorded in Matthew’s gospel chapter four and verse four saying “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.” So, it is true, the Word of the Lord in this part five is His promise and the chosen generation of those redeemed by the Lord.

Chosen Generation are two words the #ApostlePeter nails on the head to assure the #church they know the #anointing and #calling of those found in #ChristJesus. You are #livingstones #chosen of #God, yea you are very precious in his sight. We are the #holypriesthood offering up #spiritualsacrifices that are accepted by God through #JesusChrist. It is this #SpiritualHouse of whom we are contained in by the #sacrificeofJesus on the #cross who #shedhisblood for our #atonement. Make all His followers born again through the #SpiritofGod being brought into #Hisfellowship and the #church of the #elect. But as he suffered, so his church like he suffered so we face the same. For He is that #stoneofstumbling, #rockofoffense to many and therefore their #rejection and #persecuted manner against #Christian #believers do follow. Chosen Generation
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
