Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Churches Could Talk, if it were true what would they say? The Lord said in Luke chapter 19 and verse forty "I tell that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Jesus Christ reigns and rules supreme, to the glory of our Great God and Father. There was a battle over the souls of men and Jesus Christ went to the cross and shed His blood on the cross for the Atoning sacrifice of all time, space, heavens, and every place there is. Luke chapter twenty-one, verses ten to nineteen, the Lord Jesus Christ is telling the Apostles and us as well truths of events to come. The people who listened were to be prepared not frightened. His words follow immediately. “Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer.”

#Christ for #MyNamesSake that which is to come, will come, in its own time. Nothing shall delay it, stop it, for it will bring that which is to come and to be fulfilled. The #rule and #reign of #ChristJesus and the #redemption of all people who follow Christ, receiving Him, following Him, and doing His will cannot be stopped. Hell, the powers of kings, rulers, and devils are not in charge, nor can they stop it. #Christians today, however are murdered by those who hate the #Gospel of #ChristJesus. One day the #finalepitaph will be signed, sealed, and delivered when the powers of darkness and of man, and the demons and devils of hell, this includes the devil as well are cast into the Lake of fire. Meanwhile, the Lord has prepared a place for His own. We now look at Luke twenty-one, verses fifteen to nineteen. It follows now and Christ for “My Names sake” will be fulfilled. “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your #adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to #death. And ye shall be #hated of #allmen for my name’s sake. But there shall not an #hair of your #headperish. In your patience possess ye your souls.”
