Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. It has been a priority since this nations inception to be a Republic and not a democracy. Herein, is the Constitution and Bill of Rights as prima-face documents pointing out the grounding for this nation. Yet in these ends of day many nations are in trouble, including America and Canada, along with Great Britian. It is a hard time and tough life for many in the world. It is as the Apostle Paul points out in Romans chapter Ten, verses eleven to fifteen. As is pointed out below. Amidst the shaking of nations, the #Gospel will be #preach, namely the #gospel of #peace. “For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the #Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For #whosoever shall #callupon the #name of the #Lord shall #besaved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not #believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a #preacher? Gospel of Peace arrives this week as turmoil, war, violence, persecution of Christians, their homes destroyed, and lands stolen is clearly on the radar. All while the governments do absolutely nothing to stop the persecution and slaughter of innocent believers in Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach. This Gospel of Peace is joined with Lost America, Christian Speech, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Missions, all are clearly before us. Simply put, on a difficult subject, which is how to keep the innocent alive and able to have the least of what nations have. This is housing, food, clothing, jobs, safety, and happiness. However, it is true as the Apostle Paul points out in Romans chapter ten, verses eight to ten. This section clearly points out as it is stated below. “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
