Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Churches Could Talk, if it were true what would they say? The Lord said in Luke chapter 19 and verse forty "I tell that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." He is our Peace and make no mistake we need the Peace of God in our heart, mind, soul, and spirit. As Paul again describes the heart of the matter. That peace, victory, and salvation came through the Vicarious death, burial, resurrection, and rule of Jesus Christ the Righteous; who is the Almighty in Revelation chapter one.

This is Persecution globally, but also victory, peace, and redemption. Jesus Christ our Lord bring us into His redemption, for He is our Peace, He is our Redeemer. Even through persecution, heartache, trouble, peace, tribulation, and everything that could be done to destroy redemption is not possible because of the Atoning blood shed by Christ. As Paul tells the Ephesians in chapter two, verses twelve to fourteen, He is our peace. “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” #HeisourPeace

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. ow therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.”
