Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. It is not hard to see a #catastrophic #event between the #nationsofmen could literally #breakapart the #nationsofmen. Time and seasons allow us to pray, seek the Lord, and nurture our Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Without prayer, hope, and faith in our savior, there is no hope. Globally we find a world shaking in various levels of chaos, war, and hatred. Yet, above it all through Jesus Christ we are saved, born again, and await our redeemer above all things.

End of Days Pt2 Greets the next Episode in our series, Jerusalem to Armageddon Hope. Although prophecy and scripture bring us into the end of days, there is always reason to hope. Even if society begins breaking apart from murders, rapes, war, violence; we are headed into the end of it all. Time and seasons allow us to pray, seek the Lord, and nurture our Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Without prayer, hope, and faith in our savior, there is no hope. Globally we find a world shaking in various levels of chaos, war, and hatred. Yet, above it all through Jesus Christ we are saved, born again, and await our redeemer above all things. This leads us to the words of Peter in 2nd Peter, chapter three verses nine through ten. This segment in Peter follows. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned.” Herein, we find that the Lord is in control of all things.

Add in a #antichrist figure and his purposes, then indeed what comes could be the worst of the worst. Yet we are told to as Peter says “Looking for and hasting unto that day” which I refer to above. Nevertheless as a coming #DayofGod, there is also the #coming of our #Lord and #Savior #JesusChrist, Yeshua Ha Massiach. Amidst the events of all this, the Lord has given man the power to choose his destiny. Be sure you make the correct choice. In 2nd Peter chapter three, verses eleven to thirteen we find the follow summary and warning. “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
