Verified Purchase I have read this book thoroughly, and it is quite a page turner. The author, Dana Glenn Smith, wrote The Rising before all the riots erupted across America. He doesn't have a crystal ball, but he relies on the input provided by our Lord. Some folks will ask if it is possible for treasonous forces inside America to be actively trying to bring America down. The forces of the evil darkness will do whatever it takes, to satisfy their dark lord. Pick up The Rising, you'll be glad that you did.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I had a hard time putting this book down. It has a few surprises along the way. I have to say there are a few characters that are my favorite, the Uncle, Tiger, the Uncle's best friend, the Pastor and his wife and the relative of the Uncle. Steel the Darkness is an enjoyable read and leaves the ending wide open for another one. The Col is an evil man, one that seems to be out for only one thing, The destruction of human souls. Churches Could Talk, if it were true what would they say? The Lord said in Luke chapter 19 and verse forty "I tell that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Faith, Love, and Hope can be found clearly and with it a duty and responsibility to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in the same path as he walked, giving us an example. The Lord died on the cross for our sins, so we don’t have to die on that cross, Jesus did it for us. Yet, we are to “walk worthy” of the Lord unto all pleasing.” For we are saved by God’s Grace, through faith. Jesus Christ provided the atonement for our sins by his vicarious death, resurrection, and triumphing over sins and death and the grave. This is the blood atonement that sets all people free when they repent of their sins, believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse their sin and sets them free.

Faith Love Hope, three key words which defines Christians today. For we are saved by God’s Grace, through faith. Jesus Christ provided the atonement for our sins by his vicarious death, resurrection, and triumphing over sins and death and the grave. This is the blood atonement that sets all people free when they repent of their sins, believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse their sin and sets them free. Once as believers we are to follow Christ Jesus and walk in Love with all men and the brethren. It is also true here we have hope, eternal hope because of the Redemptive work Jesus Christ did to the glory of the Father. It is also a good thing here to point you to the Apostle Paul’s words found in Colossian’s chapter one, verses four to eight. They follow immediately and the phrase of Faith, Love, and Hope can be found here. “Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ; Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit”

All this and more is found in the first chapter of Colossians as the Apostle Paul was writing directing to the brethren here. The full context follows immediately, that is Colossians chapter one, verses ten to fourteen. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the #knowledge of #God; Strengthened with all might, according to his #gloriouspower, unto all #patience and #longsuffering with #joyfulness; #Givingthanks unto the #Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the #inheritance of the #saintsinlight: Who hath #delivered us from the #powerofdarkness, and hath #translated us into the #kingdom of his dear #Son: In whom we have #redemption through his #blood, even the #forgivenessofsins.”
