Confession of Faith is the defense mechanism which is true and testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it can also get you and your family murdered in many nations in the world today. Paul lays out his Confession of faith before the Governor. Yet the Apostle Paul with a cool head and calm spirit, gives defense for who he is and what he is doing. This is a battle for truth. While the Apostle tells the truth of the matter, those who do evil against him will not listen and will not stop.

Confession of Faith stands firm with the Apostle Paul answering directly to the Governor. The forces of evil have managed to contrive a hearing before the Governor. This evil made up of certain of the Jews who conspire to put Paul away or face death. They hated his message and his ability to stand firm and tall answering for himself. This just did not happen to the Apostle Paul but all the Apostles faced persecution and some even died for their faith. Today we see that the hatred of Christians is unfortunately caused the lives of many Christians which included those believers who have died at the hands of radical Islam among others. Confession of Faith is the defense mechanism which is true and testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it can also get you and your family murdered in many nations in the world today. Paul lays out his Confession of faith before the Governor. It is from Acts chapter twenty-four, verses ten to fifteen. It follows immediately. “Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself: Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship. And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city.”

#Confession of #Faith stands tall as those who hate both the #ApostlePaul and #Hismessage. Yet the Apostle Paul with a cool head and calm spirit, gives defense for who he is and what he is doing. This is a battle for truth. While the Apostle tells the truth of the matter, those who do evil against him will not listen and will not stop. Many have given their lives in #defense of the #Gospel. In the daily grind of life many issues plague mankind with the most pressing issue being sin. Paul knew this and spread the #gospel, made #disciples, and continued on till his own #martyrdom. He is in glory now alongside many other #believers all to the #glory of our great #God and #Father and to #JesusChrist our #Lord who is the #Almighty in Revelation chapter one. But Paul’s defense is the last item we leave with you. It is found in Acts twenty-four, verses ten to fifteen, this is Confession of Faith. “Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: And have #hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a #resurrection of the dead, both of the #just and unjust.”
